    摘要: A method for preparing polyaryletherketone-based copolymer by using quaternary copolymerization technology comprises: (1) adding high-temperature organic solvent into a three-necked flask equipped with a thermometer, a nitrogen-feeding pipe, and a stirrer; then stirring and heating; orderly adding 4,4′-difluordiphenylketone, 4,4′-bifluorotriphenyldione, hydroquinone, and 4,4′-dihydroxydiphenylketone after the high-temperature organic solvent has been melted, and stirring to completely dissolve them; adding alkali carbonate of 1-5% excessive amount relative to total mole of hydroquinone and 4,4′-dihydroxydiphenylketone; heating to 220-230° C. while stirring, and maintaining the temperature for 20-40 minutes to complete the first salt-forming reaction, (2) heating to 250-260° C., and maintaining the temperature for 20-40 minutes to complete the second salt-forming reaction, (3) heating to 300-320° C. to start condensation polymerization, and maintaining the temperature for 3-4 hours to complete the polymerization, and (4) pouring the obtained polymer solution into distilled water at room temperature to cool to strip-shaped solid, pulverizing, extracting with ethanol to remove organic solvent, extracting with deionized water to remove byproduct salts, and vacuum-drying to obtain quaternary copolymer containing PEEK, PEEKK, PEK, and PEKEKK repeating units in molecule chains. When the mole ratio of hydroquinone to 4,4′-dihydroxydiphenylketone is above 99:1 and the mole ratio of 4,4′-difluorodiphenylketone to 4,4′-bifluorotriphenyldione is above 99:1, the obtained quaternary copolymer mainly contains PEEK chain segments, and has the same macrophysical properties as those of PEEK.

    摘要: Provided are methods of treating an open cell polyimide foam product to produce a treated polyimide foam product having a property of repelling water or oil. The method includes the steps of: selecting a polyimide foam product having an external surface area and an open cell structure that has an interior surface area, wetting the exterior surface area and the interior surface area with a chemical treatment fluid comprising a treatment chemical that has a property of repelling water or oil, and distributing the treatment chemical onto at least a portion of the interior surface area sufficient to modify a surface property of the interior surface. Also provided are treated polyimide foam products that have an open cell polyimide foam substrate with an interior surface area and a treatment chemical on at least a portion of the interior surface area. The treatment chemical renders the interior surface hydrophobic or oleophobic.

    摘要: A process for preparing a polyarylene ether ketone, comprising: a) reacting an aromatic dihalogen compound with a bisphenol and/or a halophenol in the presence of alkali metal carbonate and/or alkaline earth metal carbonate in a high-boiling aprotic solvent to give a polyarylene ether ketone, b) wet-comminuting the solidified reaction mixture in the presence of water, c) washing with an organic solvent, d) washing with water and e) drying the washed product, wherein the wet-comminuted reaction mixture is fed to the two-stage washing with a residual moisture content of at least 1% by weight, which process leads to distinctly reduced residual contents of salts and reaction solvents.

    摘要: Compositions and methods for a melt processable semicrystalline poly(aryl ether ketone) incorporating phthalazinone and 4,4′-biphenol as comonomer units are described herein. The polymers are resistant to and insoluble in common organic solvents and liquids as well as in aggressive organic solvents such as chloroform and chlorinated liquids. The polymers are melt processable via techniques such as extrusion, injection molding, and compression molding. The semicrystalline poly(aryl ether ketone) containing phthalazinone comonomer units have properties which make them suitable for manufacturing high temperature resistant molded systems and other articles.
