摘要: The subject invention is based upon the unexpected discovery that the use of a very specific combination of hydrophobating silanes and sulfur crosslinkable silanes can be used to attain outstanding performance characteristics in silica reinforced rubber formulations. More specifically, these rubber formulations provide a highly desirable combination of both improved abrasion characteristics and reduced hysteresis without compromising other important rubber characteristics. The present invention more specifically discloses a sulfur cured rubber formulation which is the reaction product of (1) at least one rubbery polymer, (2) sulfur, (3) silica, (4) 2 phf to 12 phf of a hydrophobating silane, and (5) 0.5 phf to 3 phf of a crosslinkable silane. The weight ratio of the hydrophobating silane to the crosslinkable silane will typically be within the range of about 2:1 to about 20:1.

摘要: A two-component curable resin composition forms a cured product that is excellent in storage stability, is quickly cured by mixing, and has high elongation and high strength is obtained without using a dibutyltin catalyst. A two-component curable resin composition includes the following agent A and agent B. Agent A is a composition containing component (a) and component (b). Component (a) is a hydrogenated epoxy resin. Component (b) is one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of titanium dialkoxybis(acetylacetonate), titanium tetraisopropoxide, tetra-tertiary-butyl titanate, and an aluminum catalyst. Agent B is a composition containing component (c) and component (d). Component (c) is an organic polymer having two or more hydrolyzable silyl groups. Component (d) is a curing agent for component (a).

摘要: The present invention provides a resin composition for stereolithographic modeling emitting a weak odor, having desirable shape accuracy, and made into a cured product having desirable strength, toughness, and color tone when used for stereolithographic modeling. The present invention relates to a resin composition for stereolithographic modeling, comprising: a polymerizable monomer (A); a photopolymerization initiator (B), and an organic peroxide (C), wherein the polymerizable monomer (A) comprises a (meth)acrylic acid ester compound (A-1) having a viscosity of 1,000 mPa·s or less and a normal boiling point of 270° C. or more and/or a (meth)acrylamide compound (A-2) having a viscosity of 1,000 mPa·s or less and a normal boiling point of 200° C. or more, and the photopolymerization initiator (B) is at least one selected from a (bis)acylphosphine oxide, an α-hydroxyketone compound, an α-aminoketone compound, a benzoin alkyl ether compound, a thioxanthone, a ketal, an α-diketone, and an anthraquinone.

摘要: Provided is a particle material that achieves excellent mechanical properties and optical properties when dispersed in a transparent resin material in order to solve the problem. In a case where primary particles having particle sizes in a certain range are formed into an aggregate, mechanical properties are enhanced while optical properties are maintained. The primary particles each have compositions different between the inside thereof and the surface thereof. Therefore, the optical properties to be obtained are easily controlled unlike an inorganic substance in which both of the compositions are mixed at an atomic level. The particle material of the present invention is an aggregate including primary particles in which a specific surface area. diameter is not less than 0.8 nm and not greater than 80 nm, the primary particles formed of an inorganic substance in which a composition of a surface and a composition of an inside are different.

摘要: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

摘要: A curable fluoropolyether adhesive composition which comprises, each in a specific amount, (A) a straight-chain polyfluoro compound having two or more alkenyl groups per molecule and having a perfluoropolyether structure in the main chain, (B) a fluorine-containing organohydrogen siloxane having, per molecule, a perfluoroalkyl group, a perfluorooxyalkyl group, a perfluoroalkylene group or a perfluorooxyalkylene group and two or more SiH groups, and not having an epoxy group or an alkoxy group directly bonded to a silicon atom, (C) a platinum-group metal catalyst, and (D) a cyclic organopolysiloxane having, per molecule, an SiH group and an epoxy group and/or a trialkoxysilyl group bonded to a silicon atom via a divalent hydrocarbon group optionally containing an oxygen atom, and not having fluorine in molecule, and a cured product of which having a thickness of 2 mm shows a transmittance to light with a wavelength of 500 nm of 80% or higher. This curable fluoropolyether adhesive composition is capable of providing a cured product having good light transmittance and high adhesiveness to glass materials.

摘要: The invention is directed to a composite structure in which a metal member having a roughened surface and a resin member are joined in a state in which at least a portion of the roughened surface is included. The resin member is made of a molded article obtained by melt-molding a polyarylene sulfide resin composition containing a polyarylene sulfide resin. In the roughened surface, a cumulative pore volume of a pore diameter in a range of 0.1 μm to 20 μm is in a range of 0.5 nL/mm2 or more and 5 nL/mm2 or less measured by mercury porosimetry. According to the invention, it is possible to provide a composite structure that is obtained by joining a metal member and a molded article made of polyarylene sulfide resin composition and is more excellent in joining strength, heat cycle resistance, and sealing properties, and a method for producing the composite structure.
