In addition, the platelet shaped pigment comprising bismuth metal can be produced by physical vapor deposition (PVD) methods. In some embodiments, the metallic pigment comprises multiple layers.

摘要： A method of forming a titania-coated inorganic particle comprising the steps of: (a) agitating a mixture of inorganic particle and organic solvent; (b) adding titania precursor dropwise into the mixture of step (a) under agitation; and (c) adding catalyst to the mixture of step (b) thereby converting said titania precursor to titania which then forms a coating on said inorganic particle; wherein steps (a) to (c) are performed at neutral pH and ambient temperature.

A reflectivity of the encapsulated palette flake in a near-IR and LiDAR spectrum of electromagnetic radiation that is between 10% and 90%. A method for forming an encapsulated palette flake includes combining a base solution comprising palette flakes and a precipitating agent with a solution comprising a copper source, drying the precipitate, and calcining the dried precipitate. The precipitating agent is selected from sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, or ammonium carbonate.

The cesium tungstate is represented by a general formula CsxWyOz, and has a composition within a region surrounded by four straight lines of x=0.6y, z=2.5y, y=5x, and Cs2O:WO3=m:n (m and n are integers) in a ternary composition diagram with Cs, W, and O at each vertex.
