摘要: The disclosure relates to methods of irradiating a gas containing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) with high energy light to photolytically cleave some of the hydrogen sulfide in the gas to form sulfur-containing reactive species. The sulfur-containing reactive species act as autocatalysts that react with some of the remaining hydrogen sulfide in the gas to generate hydrogen gas and one or more sulfur-containing products. The methods remove hydrogen sulfide from the gas and produce hydrogen gas. The methods can be implemented in a component of a hydrocarbon producing well (e.g., a wellhead, a flow line, a production casing, a production tubing), a component used to transport the gas mixture produced by the well (e.g., a transportation pipeline), a gas treatment system (e.g., a tail gas treatment system), a borehole and/or an underground formation.

摘要: Injecting into an oil reservoir a gaseous mixture of carbon monoxide (CO) together with gaseous hydrocarbons comprising a mixture of one or more of methane (C1), ethane (C2), propane (C3), butane (C4), pentane (C5), and natural gasoline, also referred to as NGL, for the purpose of achieving additional oil recovery from any of conventional, heavy, and unconventional oil reservoirs, including shale oil reservoirs. The gaseous hydrocarbons and the CO may range from 0.1% gaseous hydrocarbons and 99.5% CO and associated minor gases including any of CO2, H2, N2 to 98.5% gaseous hydrocarbons and 1.5% CO and associated minor gases.

摘要: Certain examples described herein are directed to a foaming agent for utilization in drilling that has greater environmental desirability due to the elimination of molecular ammonia and ammonium ion and further, has the added feature of greater economy while maintaining nominal to superior functioning in the capacity of lifting and performing at characteristic operating temperature. In some configurations, the compositions may desirably omit toxic or flammable substances to include lighter alcohols, and or environmentally persistent components. Further, various embodiments can achieve an improved level of foam stability.

摘要: The present application provides an aqueous fluid containing a gas-generating compound such as an azo compound, a hydrazide compound, or a semicarbazide compound. The aqueous fluid may also contain an amine compound, an oxidizer, or viscosifier, and a foaming surfactant. The aqueous composition may be storable at pH of less than about 5 without any appreciable gas generation, and may be activated to produce gas when mixed with a wellbore fluid for use in downhole applications.

摘要: A method for building an underground storehouse by dissolving limestone with carbon dioxide, the method comprising the following steps: a.) drilling two wells extending from the ground surface (1) to a limestone layer (2), building a channel (5) allowing the two wells to communicate, and installing casing pipes (3, 4) respectively in the two wells; b.) introducing CO2 gas having at least 1 MPa of pressure into a CO2 absorbing solution having the same pressure to form a CO2 solution, flowing the CO2 solution into underground via the casing pipe (3) to react with the limestone to form a calcium bicarbonate solution, forming a cavern in the meanwhile, and discharging the calcium bicarbonate solution via the other casing pipe (4); c.) decompressing the discharged calcium bicarbonate solution to decompose the calcium bicarbonate contained in the solution into CO2, water and calcium carbonate, and recycling the separated CO2 absorption solution and the CO2; repeating steps b.) and c.) until a cavern meeting design requirements is formed, and discharging the solution from the cavern to form the underground storehouse (6). Also disclosed is a device for building an underground storehouse by dissolving limestone with carbon dioxide, the device comprising a CO2 storage tank (7), an absorption tower (8), a crystallizer (11), a pressure relief valve (9), a gas-liquid separator (10), a vacuum pump (13), a buffer (14) and booster pumps (12, 15, 16).

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for extracting fluids comprising natural gas and water from a reservoir via at least one oil well/gas well connected to at least one flow line network. For extracting fluids, a composition containing a foaming composition is injected at a pre-determined location into the oil well/gas well and/or the flow line network. The foaming composition is then agitated with the water and converted to foam. The agitation is carried out by the natural gas. The foam formed reduces the interfacial surface tension between the natural gas and the water, and thereby facilitates reduction in liquid holdup in the oil well/gas well and/or the flow line network. The system of the present disclosure includes at least one manifold, at least one distribution assembly and a plurality of control valves and sensors.
