摘要: An inhibition corrosion package for use with an acidic composition, where the package comprises a terpene component; a propargyl alcohol or derivative thereof, at least one amphoteric surfactant; and a solvent. Also disclosed are acidic compositions combining the corrosion inhibition package according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention for use in various industrial operations including but not limited to oil and gas operations. Also disclosed are methods of use of such compositions.

摘要: Unconventional hydrocarbon source rock reservoirs can contain the organic material kerogen, intertwined with the rock matrix. The kerogen can alter the tensile strength of the rock and contribute to higher fracture energy needs. To degrade kerogen and other organic materials, oxidizing gasses are dissolved in carbon dioxide (CO2) which is then used as part of a fracturing fluid. The oxidizing gasses can be dissolved directly in the CO2 or generated in situ using precursors.

Specifically, the formulation is a single-phase liquid surfactant package which comprises a surfactant and optionally one or more secondary surfactants. Also provided are methods of using the stabilized injection fluids in stimulation operations.

摘要: The invention includes methods for stimulating a hydrocarbon-bearing formation by perforating a wellbore and introducing an acidic composition in the wellbore. A preferred embodiment includes inserting an isolation plug in the wellbore at a predetermined location followed by inserting a perforating tool and a breakdown acid into the wellbore. The wellbore is perforated by the tool to create a perforated area. The breakdown acid is allowed to come into contact with the perforated area for a predetermined period of time sufficient to prepare the formation for stimulation. The tool is then removed from the wellbore wherein stimulation of the perforated area is thereby initiated. Also disclosed is a corrosion inhibiting composition for use with the acidic composition.

摘要: A method of the invention prepares a hydrocarbon-bearing formation for stimulation. A bottom hole assembly comprising a plug and a perforation tool connected to a wireline is lowered into the wellbore. Acid is injected into the wellbore such that the acid is in direct contact with the perforation tool, wireline and casing of the wellbore. The plug is positioned downhole beyond a location where a first perforation area is to be made in the casing. The perforation tool is activated creating the first perforation area. The acid then contacts the first perforation area and cementitious debris generated from the casing being perforated. The perforation tool is next moved up-hole to a second location and the casing is again perforated to create a second perforation area. The acid also contacts the second perforated area and cementitious debris generated from the perforated casing. The perforation tool is lastly removed from the wellbore.

摘要: A method for obtaining substituted alkyl(meth)acrylamide includes reaction between (meth)acrylic acid or an ester thereof, and a primary or a secondary alkylamine. At least one of the two is at least partially renewable and non-fossil. The substituted alkyl(meth)acrylamide can have a bio-sourced carbon content of between 5 wt % and 100 wt % relative to the total carbon weight in the substituted alkyl(meth)acrylamide. The bio-sourced carbon content can be measured according to the standard ASTM D6866-21 Method B.
