摘要: A composition for fracturing a wellbore may include a reacting fluid. The reacting fluid includes an encapsulated breaker, sodium nitrite, and an ammonium-comprising compound. The sodium nitrite and the ammonium-comprising compound undergo an exothermic reaction producing heat operable to release the encapsulated breaker, releasing the breaker that then reduces viscosity in the polymer-comprising fluid. A method for fracturing a wellbore may include injecting into a fractured wellbore a fluid comprising an ammonium-comprising compound and a fluid comprising sodium nitrite. The fractured wellbore has been fractured with a fracturing fluid comprising an encapsulated breaker. Sodium nitrite and the ammonium-comprising compound undergo an exothermic chemical reaction that generates heat to release the encapsulated breaker.

摘要: A method of treating a wellbore in a subterranean formation including introducing a first fluid into a formation, wherein the first fluid comprises: a first water soluble salt and a carrier; placing a second fluid into the formation, wherein the second fluid comprises: a second water soluble salt and a carrier, wherein the first fluid and second fluid produce a solid precipitate upon contact; and allowing the solid precipitate to form in-situ in the formation. An acid may be added to the wellbore after formation of the precipitate. The method may be also used for stabilizing a wellbore during drilling, and shutting off and reopening a region in a formation.

摘要: A method comprising: introducing a first fluid into a wellbore above a fracture gradient of a subterranean formation penetrated by the wellbore to create a first plurality of fractures within a first portion of the subterranean formation; introducing a second fluid comprising at least one acid component into the wellbore above the fracture gradient of the subterranean formation penetrated by the wellbore to create a second plurality of fractures within a second portion of the subterranean formation; allowing the second fluid to enter at least one natural fracture in the first or second portion of the subterranean formation allowing the acid component to dissolve at least a portion of the subterranean formation to form one or more induced fractures in fluidic communication with the natural fracture, at least some of the first plurality of fractures, and at least some of the second plurality of fractures.

摘要: A well treatment additive includes a siloxane surfactant, a solvent and an aqueous phase. The solvent is preferably a terpene hydrocarbon. Also disclosed is a method for using the well treatment additive to form and enhance the properties of terpene solvent based additives useful for the treatment of oil and gas wells. Methods of using the novel well treatment additives include using the additives in a variety of well treatment processes including, but not limited to, acidizing operations, hydraulic fracturing operations, well remediation operations and water removal operations.

摘要: Methods for enhancing the conductivity of fractures in a subterranean formation using electrically controlled propellants are provided. In some embodiments, the methods comprise: introducing an electrically controlled propellant into one or more secondary boreholes in a subterranean formation near a main well bore that penetrates the subterranean formation; igniting the electrically controlled propellant in the secondary boreholes, whereby at least a portion of the region of the subterranean formation near the secondary borehole is at least partially ruptured by the ignition of the electrically controlled propellant in the secondary boreholes; and introducing a fracturing fluid into the main wellbore at or above a pressure sufficient to create or enhance at least one primary fracture in the subterranean formation that extends into at least a portion of the ruptured region of the subterranean formation.
