摘要: The invention discloses a genetically engineered bacterium and its application in the preparation of sialyllactose. The genetically engineered bacterium has an N-acetylneuraminic acid biosynthesis pathway, includes multiple copies of a gene neuB for encoding sialic acid synthase, and the gene neuB is initiated for expression by a strong promoter. Using the genetically engineered bacteria of the invention to produce sialyllactose has the advantages of high yield and low overall cost.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing fucosylated oligosaccharides by using a recombinant prokaryotic host cell that is cultivated on a gluconeogenic substrate, as well as to the host cell and its use. The host cell is genetically modified in that the activity of a fructose-6-phosphate converting enzyme is abolished or lowered, and the transport of the produced fucosylated oligosaccharide through the cell membrane is facilitated by an exogenous transport protein.

摘要: Provided herein are compositions and methods for improved production of steviol glycosides in a host cell. In some embodiments, the host cell is genetically modified to comprise a heterologous nucleotide sequence encoding a Setaria italica UDP-glycosyltransferase 40087 or its variant UDP-glycosyltransferase. In some embodiments, the host cell is genetically modified to comprise a heterologous nucleotide sequence encoding a UDP-glycosyltransferase sr.UGT_9252778, Bd_UGT10850, and/or Ob_UGT91B1_like. In some embodiments, the host cell further comprises one or more heterologous nucleotide sequence encoding further enzymes of a pathway capable of producing steviol glycosides in the host cell. The compositions and methods described herein provide an efficient route for the heterologous production of steviol glycosides, including but not limited to, rebaudioside D and rebaudioside M.
