    摘要: Provided are gut microbes or cultures having anti-obesity efficacy and a pharmaceutical composition containing them. The gut microbes or cultures have anti-obesity efficacy by lowering fatty acid concentration of the gut fluid contents in a mammalian gastrointestinal tract for the prevention and treatment of obesity and obesity related diseases. This invention demonstrated that said gut microbes having anti-obesity efficacy by lowering fatty acid concentration of the gut fluid contents in the gastrointestinal tract of mammals have the anti-obesity efficacy as much as that of the representative anti-obesity drug, orlistat, without any side effects in animal experiments and clinical trials. Therefore, the gut microbes h can be used to develop universal anti-obesity drugs for obese patients, contributing greatly to the health of mankind.
