摘要: A thermal-moisture comfortable polyester FDY for summer use and a preparation method thereof are provided. The FDY is made of matting agents dispersed polyester via the steps of spinning melt metering, extruding via the compositional spinneret, cooling, oiling, drawing, heat setting and winding. The woven fabrics manufactured with the FDY possess a wicking height and an evaporation rate of larger than or equal to 135 mm and 0.22 g/h, respectively. The compositional spinneret is simultaneously provided with cruciform orifices and circular orifices, and the length ratio of cruciform orifice to circular orifice is equal to the product of their equivalent diameter ratio and a coefficient K, here equivalent diameter is the ratio of orifice cross-section area to its circumference and K ranges from 0.97 to 1.03, and the oiling involves the oiling agent containing 67.30-85.58 wt % of crown ether.

摘要: Various implementations include a melt-spun filament that has a radial cross section that has two substantially parallel linear perimetrical sections and first and second curved perimetrical sections. The first curved perimetrical section extends between first ends of the linear perimetrical sections, and the second curved perimetrical section extends between second ends of the linear perimetrical sections. The curved perimetrical sections are convex. According to some embodiments, the curved perimetrical sections are semi-circular or semi-elliptical. A plurality of melt-spun filaments may be included in a bundle of filaments and/or a yarn made with the melt-spun filaments. In addition, a spinneret plate for spinning the melt-spun filaments and a method of making the melt-spun filaments is also provided.

Pressure is applied to a filament to change a cross-sectional shape of the filament and create a plurality of distinct surfaces on the filament. The filament is converted into a graphitic carbon fiber having the plurality of distinct surfaces. A plurality of sizings is applied to the plurality of distinct surfaces of the graphitic carbon fiber in which the plurality of sizings includes at least two different sizings.

摘要: Provided is a method of manufacturing a mechanoluminescent fiber. The method includes the steps of: preparing an elastic fiber having a longitudinal groove on the surface thereof; forming a primer layer including a coupling agent on the elastic fiber; filling the groove of the elastic fiber with a mixture of a stress transfer substance and a stress luminescent substance; and forming a silicon adhesive layer on the elastic fiber of which the groove is filled with the mixture of a stress transfer substance and a stress luminescent substance. The silicon adhesive layer is 3-dimensionally bonded to the elastic fiber and the mixture of a stress transfer substance and a stress luminescent substance.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a nonwoven fabric that improves filtration performance when applied as a filter material. By adjusting the modification ratio of the Y-shaped cross-section of polyester filaments constituting the nonwoven fabric, when applied to a filter by increasing a specific surface area of the nonwoven fabric, it increases the collection amount of the materials to be filtered and maintains a low differential pressure, thus enabling long-term use.

摘要: A bi-profiled fiber and preparing method thereof are provided. The bi-profiled fiber is manufactured through the steps of spinning melt metering, extruding via the composite spinneret, cooling, oiling, drawing, heat setting and winding, finally containing both double-cross monofilaments and circular monofilaments simultaneously. The bi-profiled fiber is made of the modified polyester, and the modified polyester is dispersed by matte agent and is composed of terephthalic acid segments, ethylene glycol segments and branched diol segments, and the branched diol segment has a structural formula of where R1 and R2 are separately selected from the linear alkylene with 1-3 carbon atoms, R3 from the alkyl with 1-5 carbon atoms, and R4 from the alkyl with 2-5 carbon atoms. The matte agents is a mixture of amorphous titanium dioxide and amorphous silicon dioxide, or a mixture of calcium carbonate and amorphous silicon dioxide.
