摘要: A rotational braiding machine (100) has a plurality of first braiding material carriers (200a), a plurality of second braiding material carriers (200b), a movement unit, a drive and a controller. The movement unit is arranged and designed in order to move relocating elements (300) associated with the first braiding material carriers (200a) in each case between a first position and a second position. The drive is designed to drive the plurality of first braiding material carriers (200a) such that they rotate about the common braiding center in a first rotation direction and to drive the plurality of second braiding material carriers (200b) such that they rotate about the common braiding center in a second rotation direction which is different from the first rotation direction. The controller is additionally designed to control the movement unit such that the movement of at least one of the relocating elements (300) can be adjusted.

摘要: A pick-up device for picking up a tubular knitted article from a circular knitting machine, comprising an annular pick-up body which supports pick-up elements which can slide relative to the pick-up body along radial directions. The end of each one of the pick-up elements has a seat which can engage a region of the stem of the needle located proximate to the latch of the needle on the opposite side with respect to the head of the needle. The device comprises actuation elements formed by elastic elements which act on the pick-up elements for their sliding toward the axis of the pick-up body and radial pushers which act on the pick-up elements for their sliding away from the axis of the pick-up body in contrast with the action of the elastic elements.

摘要: Provided are a fiber material for liquid purification, being inexpensive, capable of reducing cleaning, and suppressing the generation of fine particles, and a cleaning device including the same. The present invention relates to a nonwoven fabric base material containing a mixed resin of polyolefin and a styrene-olefin copolymer in a single fiber, which is used as a fiber material for liquid purification for removing a biotoxic substance from liquid, wherein the mass ratio of the polyolefin to the mass of the mixed resin is 10% by mass or more and 80% by mass or less and the mass ratio of all styrene residues to the mass of the styrene-olefin copolymer is 5% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less, a fiber material for liquid purification including the nonwoven fabric base material, a method for producing the material, and a cleaning device including the material.

摘要: A knitted component comprises plush loops created with an inlaid yarn. A first surface of the knitted component includes a first yarn formed with a first stitch sequence that includes a quantity of knit stitches and a quantity of missed stitches. The second surface includes a second yarn formed with a second stitch sequence that includes a quantity of tuck stitches and a quantity of missed stitches. A third yarn is inlaid between two needle beds knitting the first and second yarns, and while the third yarn is inlaid, tuck stitches of the second yarn created with the previous pass of the carriage are transferred from one needle bed to another. Loops formed by the third yarn are locked into place by the transferred tuck stitches. The knitted component may be incorporated into an article of footwear. A method of manufacturing the knitted component is also described herein.

摘要: Nanofiber filter media ribbons are flexible elongate strips of polymeric material having a surface on which is formed an array of nanofibers. Ribbons are formable into woven or non-woven mats. The array of nanofibers can be configured to filter a predetermined contaminant from a fluid stream passing through the mats. Filter ribbons are formable by applying a moldable polymer to a first angular location of a rotating cylindrical roll having an array of nanoholes formed in a circumferential surface thereof so that the polymer covers the surface of the roll and infiltrates the nanoholes; cooling the polymer while rotating the polymer-covered roll to a second angular position; and removing the cooled polymer from the roll as an elongate film having an array of nanofibers formed on a surface thereof by the polymer that infiltrated the nanoholes.

The second tooling fixture is engageable with the first tooling fixture to define an inner volume therebetween, the inner volume configured to support the preform during debulking while a compressive force is applied thereto.

摘要: A method of suturing includes: (1) wrapping a first segment of a suture through a traction loop; (2) pulling the traction loop and the first segment through an opening in a suture lock; (3) continuing to pull the traction loop such that a second segment of the suture extends through the opening, wherein the second segment has a greater denier than the first segment such that the second segment more nearly fills an entire dimension of the opening than the first segment; and (4) locking the suture in place with the second segment in the opening.
