摘要： The present invention relates to a carpet tile or carpet strip which is suitable for the contract market, more particularly office or commercial buildings, comprising a machine or mechanically woven carpet, comprising warp and weft yarns, a needle felt, an intermediate layer between the needle felt and the machine or mechanically woven fabric, wherein a part of the warp yarns on the back side of the machine or mechanically woven fabric have at least partially fused together. The invention also relates to a method for the manufacture of a carpet tile or carpet strip which is suitable for the contract market, in particular office and commercial buildings.

摘要： This invention relates to a washable multi-component magnetic floor mat with a hidden base component. The floor mat contains a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways. The present invention eliminates the need to wash the base component of the floor mat which results in environmental, cost and labor conservation. Alignment and deployment of the textile component with the base component in an efficient manner is also described herein.

摘要： A textile sleeve for routing and protecting an elongate member against abrasion and method of construction thereof are provided. The sleeve includes a flexible wall having a plurality of yarns interlaced with one another. At least some of the plurality of yarns are provided as improved multifilament yarns having low-melt filaments and non-low-melt filaments. The low-melt filaments have a first melt temperature and the non-low-melt filaments having a second melt temperature, with the second melt temperature being greater than the first melt temperature. The low-melt filaments are bonded with the non-low-melt filaments to prevent relative sliding movement therebetween.

The at least partial bonding including thermally activated bonds between a first polyolefin material produced with a catalyst including at least one metallocene catalyst and having a melting point in the range 130-170° C. and a second material having a melting point which is at least 10° C. higher than the melting point of the first material, the weight of the first material in the non-woven structure being at least 3% of the weight of the nonwoven structure.
