摘要: A system and method are provided for predictive control of brown stock treatment at a pulp mill. Various online sensors generate output signals representative of actual values for respective process characteristics, each of which are directly or indirectly affected by adjustments to corresponding process variables. A controller uses the output signals or associated measurement data to dynamically set target values for the process characteristics based on a predicted impact of control responses for corresponding process variables. The controller further generates control signals to actuators associated with the respective process variables based on detected variations between the respective actual values and target values. Exemplary brown stock washing control systems may optimize various types of brown stock washing configurations, including for example vacuum drum washers, compaction baffle washers, chemiwashers, direct displacement washers and wash presses. Cloud-based analytics and machine learning may also be implemented to improve the control algorithms over time.

摘要: A method for obtaining information on quality of combustion of a liquor in a chemical recovery boiler. The method comprises entering a value of a first input parameter to a computational model configured to determine, based on the value of the first input parameter, a value of the quality of combustion of the liquor in the chemical recovery boiler, and at a first time, running the computational model to obtain a first modelling result. The method comprises measuring, from the chemical recovery boiler a value indicative of carryover to obtain a measurement result; comparing the first modelling result with [a] the measurement result or [b] a result derived from the measurement result, to obtain a primary comparison result; and adjusting the value of the first input parameter based on the primary comparison result to obtain an adjusted value of the first input parameter. The method comprises entering the adjusted value of the first input parameter to the computational model, and at a second time, running the computational model to obtain the information on quality of combustion of the liquor in the chemical recovery boiler.

摘要: In a process for oxidation of white liquor, in particular of white liquor used in a process of production of paper or cellulose, the oxygen required for the oxidation is supplied to the reactor or the reactors in which the oxidation is carried out at least partially in the form of oxygen-containing nanobubbles. Due to the relatively long lifetime of the nanobubbles this very efficiently provides oxygen also for oxidation reactions in the white liquor proceeding at different rates.

摘要: Recycled fibers are produced from MDF or HDF containing material, for instance for use in MDF or HDF production by steaming (2) the MDF or HDF containing material for a predetermined time to obtain steamed material, subjecting the steamed material to a pulping process (3) to obtain a slurry, screening (4a, 4b) the slurry to remove oversize particles to obtain a screened slurry, dewatering (5) the screened slurry to obtain dewatered fibers and refining or fluffing (6) the dewatered fibers to obtain said recycled fibers. A method for producing MDF or HDF boards using such recycled fibers is also provided. Corresponding systems for producing recycled fibers and producing MDF or HDF boards are also provided.
