    摘要: A machine having a ground-engaging rotor may include a first swing arm and a second swing arm. A first end of the first swing arm may be pivotably coupled a frame of the machine at a first pivot and its second end may be coupled to the rotor. A third end of the second swing arm may be pivotably coupled the frame at a second pivot and its fourth end may be coupled to the rotor. A torsion bar and a crossbeam may both be coupled to the first swing arm and the second swing arm. At least one actuator may also be coupled to the crossbeam such that activation of the at least one actuator rotates the first swing arm about the first pivot, and the second swing arm about the second pivot, and deploy the rotor.

    摘要: The invention relates to an automotive construction machine with a transport device extending in the working direction beyond the machine frame, in particular a road milling machine or surface miner. Moreover, the invention relates to a method for displaying an image of the surroundings of an automotive construction machine. The construction machine according to the invention has an image display device for displaying a bird's eye view image of the surroundings of the construction machine, which image display device has a camera system with a plurality of cameras for recording individual overlapping image regions of the construction machine surroundings from different image recording positions, and an image processing system. The image processing system is configured in such a way that image details of the individual image regions are joined together to form a total image from a bird's eye view. The camera system has at least one camera which is arranged on the transport device in such a way that the viewing direction of the camera is directed in the direction of the machine frame, and at least one further camera which is arranged on the machine frame in such a way that the viewing direction of the camera is directed away from the machine frame. Using the cameras directed into and away from the machine frame, the machine operator obtains a complete surround view, which includes the region covered by the transport device in the working direction in front of the construction machine.

    摘要: A 3D volume rate control method and apparatus (10) for a slewing bucket-wheel stockpile reclaimer 16 is described. The apparatus (10) comprises four 3D image sensors (12) mounted adjacent a bucket-wheel (14) of the (reclaimer 16), which are adapted to provide 3D images of a stockpile bench face. The apparatus includes a data processor (20) for: (i) processing the 3D images produced by the 3D image sensors (12) to generate a 3D stockpile bench face profile, (ii) calculating a reclaim cut volume rate at which material is being cut from the stockpile face based on a measured change in volume of the 3D stockpile bench face profile in the area abutting the excavation tool, (iii) calculating a reclaim cut volume of material that will be cut from the stockpile face based on the shape of the excavation tool and the 3D stockpile bench face profile to determine a feed forward reclaim cut volume rate profile, and (iv) calculating an operating parameter for the reclaimer based on a desired reclaim cut volume rate compared to the measured reclaim cut volume rate and the feed forward reclaim cut volume rate profile. The method and apparatus provide accurate reclaim volume measurement so that the reclaim volume rate becomes independent of the product characteristics, stockpile bench face shape and bucket-wheel cutting parameters.

    摘要: A silt removal apparatus is provided for removing silt from under a body of water. The silt removing apparatus includes a silt removing wheel rotatably mounted on a floatation arrangement. The silt removing wheel has a plurality of silt retaining chambers defined by a plurality of vanes. Once the silt has been retained in the silt retaining chambers a shield mechanism shields the silt from the water as the silt retaining chambers rotates through the body of water. Once the respective silt retaining chambers of the silt removing wheel reaches an upper most position, an ejector mechanism aids in the removal of the silt from the silt retaining chambers. A conveyor arrangement transports the silt to a storage site. In the event an object is wedged between the shield mechanism and the silt removing wheel, a release mechanism trips and the silt removing wheel is stopped in order to remove the object. The subject silt removing apparatus is an effective apparatus to remove silt from under a body of water.
