摘要： An erected platform which contains parallel lines of trusses connected end-to-end and method of erecting thereof, as illustrated in FIGS. 20 to 23. Each truss has two sides for chords respectively, with apertures or eyelets at the ends. First and second other trusses for a pair of parallel lines respectively are connected by positioning a first other truss adjacent the decking laid on an existing platform portion. Apertures on first respective sides of the first other truss and one of the existing trusses are connected by a first pin and the first other truss swung into an end-to-end position with the one existing truss and a second pin inserted in apertures on second respective sides of the first other truss and the one existing truss. The first pin is removed and the first other truss swung out of the way so that the second other truss may be attached. The second other truss is positioned adjacent the existing decking and similarly connected end-to-end with the other existing truss. The first other truss is then swung back into position for end-to-end attachment to the one existing truss and the second pin re-inserted.

摘要： A method of stabilizing a suspended scaffolding system against a main stable structure by using the intentional displacement of the centre of gravity of the suspended scaffold off its equilibrium position and preventing the return of the centre of gravity to the equilibrium free-hanging state. The displacement of the centre of gravity is to be achieved by movement of the counterweight of the suspended scaffolding. The centre of gravity is prevented from returning to the equilibrium position by using adjustable bumpers between the suspended scaffolding system and the main stable structure. A restoring gravity force induced by the displacement of the centre of gravity off the equilibrium position acts as a pushing force to provide firm stabilization of the suspended scaffolding against the main stable structure.

摘要： A catwalk system having a pair of side trusses formed of a top chord and bottom chord connected by a plurality of vertical posts and diagonal posts. The bottom chords have a plurality of joints formed of a bottom plate, opposing side plates and wing plates that form a pocket. These pockets receive an end of floorbeams which are bolted to the side plates. The bottom plate also includes a wind brace section that receives an end of a diagonal wind brace therein. The fabricated side trusses are shipped to the job site where the catwalk is quickly and easily assembled by aligning a pair of side trusses in parallel space alignment and installing floorbeams in the pockets of opposing joints. To provide additional rigidity diagonal wind braces are installed in a zig-zag formation between diagonally opposite joints. This arrangement provides a quickly assembled catwalk that requires minimal assembly.

摘要： An embodiment of the invention provides for an assembly for securing equipment to a tank. The assembly comprises a base, a split ring, and a clamp. The base comprises a tank engagement portion, a base aperture, a lip positioned along a perimeter of the base aperture, and a first mating surface. The split ring is arranged to be at least partially positionable within the base. The split ring comprises a split ring aperture and a second mating surface in contact with the first mating surface when the split ring is partially positioned within the base. The clamp is positionable to hold the first mating surface in contact with the second mating surface. The clamp comprises a clamp aperture, a first contact surface, and a second contact surface. When the clamp is positioned to hold the mating surfaces in contact, the first contact surface contacts the base, and the second contact surface contacts the split ring.

The securing element may also be secured in several radial positions and comprise coupling portions that are formed correspondingly. Also disclosed are components correspondingly formed to the securing element, in particular a supporting apparatus, a cover for the supporting apparatus, and a coupling element; and a securing system, or a securing mechanism, or a mounting set each comprising at least one securing element according to the invention.
