摘要： A lift system for a spa cover includes a fist lift assembly associated with a first side of a spa, and a second lift assembly associated with an opposed, second side of the spa. The first lift assembly includes a motor for applying an uncovering force to a spa cover. The second lift assembly includes a compression spring exerting a generally downward force on the cover when the cover is in the closed position, and a generally upwards force on the cover when the cover is moved towards an open position to assist in an uncovering operation. The second lift assembly also includes a tension spring configured to exert an upward force on the cover when the cover is in the open position to assist the first lift assembly in a covering operation.

The louvered patio cover may comprise a frame with support beams, louvered panels, support beam couplers, an actuator, a gutter, and/or other components. The support beams may have angled ends. The louvered panels may be rotatably coupled to the support beams. A support beam coupler may comprise first and second receivers. The first receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a first support beam, and the second receiver may be configured to receive an angled end of a second support beam. The angled ends of the first and second support beams may face, meet, and/or abut each other when received by the first and second receivers. The actuator may be configured to rotate the louvered panels. A gutter may comprise a lighting channel configured to hold a light source for lighting an area under the louvered patio cover.

摘要： A hard cover for spas, hot tubs and the like has an outer layer defining one or more cover portions that may be hinged together along a common top edge. Each cover portion internally includes a plurality of rigid panels, which may be made of expanded polystyrene or another rigid foam or the like. A support structure that mechanically couples and/or supports the panels is provided to improve the load-bearing capacity of the spa cover, optionally providing sufficient strength to conform to applicable safety standards. The support structure can include beams having various cross-sections, or combinations thereof, and may be provided in multiple segments that are shorter than the overall length of the cover. A vapor barrier film can be provided that encloses the panels and optionally some or all portions of the support structure to protect these components from degradation in the spa environment.

摘要： A spa cover and sensor are disclosed. The spa cover may include a rigid portion and a floating portion connected to the rigid portion to reduce heat loss. A sensor may be provided within the spa cover, the spa tub, or a combination of the cover and tub to determine when a cover is in an open or closed position over the spa tub. A processor may communicate with other automated features of the spa and/or cover, such as, causing air bladders in the cover to automatically inflate when the cover is in a closed position or locking or unlocking the spa cover. The processor may communicate with features on the spa, such as initiating custom start settings when the cover is removed from the spa tub, or initiate energy saving functions with the cover is placed over the spa tub.

摘要： A cover and a method for automatically producing a cover having at least one cover panel for covering a container, the method using a mold having an open state and a closed state. The method operates in three steps. First, by opening the mold to the open state and assembling therein, free of mechanical fasteners, of at least two functionally different cover elements. Second, closing the mold to the closed state and injecting therein at least one substance that solidifies for forming a structural material which forms a third cover element. Third, opening the mold to the open state and retrieving the cover thereout ready for use.
