The hole is shaped such that a perimeter edge of the hole engages a body of the padlock when a shackle of the padlock is received through the hole. The panel is positionable to cover the latch when the shackle is received through the hole and secured to the latch.

摘要： An exemplary apparatus includes a housing, a lock mechanism mounted to the housing, an electromechanical driver, a first override mechanism, and a second override mechanism. The electromechanical driver is mounted to the housing and is operable to unlock the lock mechanism. The first override mechanism is movably mounted to the housing and is operable to unlock the lock mechanism. The second override mechanism is movably mounted to the housing and is operable to unlock the lock mechanism. The apparatus has a first configuration in which a lock cylinder is engaged with the first override mechanism such that actuation of the lock cylinder unlocks the lock mechanism. The apparatus has a second configuration in which the lock cylinder is engaged with the second override mechanism such that actuation of the lock cylinder unlocks the lock mechanism.

摘要： A handle assembly includes a lock cylinder of a selected one of a first standard or a different second standard. A tail piece extends from the lock cylinder. The handle assembly also includes a vertical tubular member, a horizontal tubular member and a transition plate. The transition plate is disposed within the vertical tubular member and is moveable between a first position and a different second position. The transition plate accommodates installation of the lock cylinder of the first standard when in the first position and installation of the lock cylinder of the second standard when in the second position. A mechanical linkage is coupled to the tail piece and effects movement of a locking bolt in response to turning of a key in the lock cylinder.

摘要： A lock, adapted for being assembled on a door panel, is provided. The door sheet has an assembling hole and a latch slot connected and communicated with the assembling hole. The lock includes a latch assembly, a first locking mechanism, and a second locking mechanism. The latch assembly is assembled in the latch slot and extended into the assembling hole. The first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism are assembled in the assembling hole from the two sides thereof respectively to automatically position and affix the latch assembly. Because the latch assembly can be to led to move and positioned in the latch slot and the assembling hole by the first locking mechanism and no screw or other tool are required for fastening in the entire process of the assembling, the present invention is therefore easy and convenient to assemble.

摘要： Determining a position of a deadbolt used to lock and unlock a door is disclosed. An electromechanical lock can include a deadbolt that can retract or extend along a linear path as the door is to be locked and unlocked. A sensor such as an accelerometer can rotate along a non-linear path as the deadbolt moves along a linear path. The accelerometer can determine a gravity vector that can be indicative of a position of the accelerometer along the non-linear path. A controller can then determine a position of the deadbolt based on the gravity vector.
