    Abstract: A roller blind and an adjusting device thereof are disclosed. The adjusting device includes an adjusting spring, an adjusting member, and a sleeve. When another end of a booster spring is positioned, a toggle portion of the adjusting member pushes the adjusting spring and the sleeve, so that an elastic force of the booster spring is changed. After the adjusting member stops rotating, the sleeve is positioned by the adjusting spring. The elastic force of the booster spring can be adjusted, without additional tools or operation space.

    Abstract: An apparatus for producing insulating glass having a distribution unit of thermoplastic spacers, a sheet coupling unit, and a thermal conditioning unit is provided. The thermal conditioning unit has an inlet area for glass sheets not yet coupled and possibly provided with a thermoplastic spacer, and an outlet area for the glass sheets. The inlet area and the outlet area define a transit direction for the glass sheets. The thermal conditioning unit has a fixed frame and a movable frame. The movable frame is suitable for movement relative to the fixed frame in a direction substantially perpendicular to the transit direction. A plurality of compartments adapted to house the glass sheets is provided on the movable frame. The movable frame is adapted to position each compartment of the plurality of compartments in line with the inlet area and the outlet area for the glass sheets.

    Abstract: A foldaway stepping stool apparatus includes a backplate attachable to a cabinet and a stepping stool mountable onto the backplate. The stepping stool is configurable into deployed and folded configurations. The stepping stool includes a platform, a pivotable front leg, a pivotable rear leg, a latch, and a bracket coupling the latch and the front leg. The latch operates to lock the stepping stool in the deployed configuration and to secure and free the bracket, enabling movement of the stepping stool between the deployed and folded configurations. The backplate includes a track for removably receiving the stepping stool. The track enables the stepping stool to slide in and out thereof to attach and detach, respectively, for use at the cabinet or away from the cabinet. The track further enables the stepping stool to slide therethrough to contact a floor to support the cabinet while the apparatus is mounted thereon.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for determining a presence of a relay in a pillow speaker, including sampling a voltage of a relay drive line to detect a first feedback state; providing a control signal to activate the relay drive line; sampling a voltage of the relay drive line during activation to detect a second feedback state; and comparing the first feedback state and the second feedback state to detect a presence of a relay. In another aspect, a pillow speaker relay circuit includes a relay drive line with a relay terminal configured to connect to a relay such that current flows through the relay when the relay drive line is activated; a control circuit operable to activate the relay drive line, and a feedback detection circuit configured to detect a voltage of the relay drive line; and a controller to perform any of the disclosed methods.

    Abstract: A smart window control device controls transmittance of a smart window provided as a window of a space where a temperature is controlled by an air conditioning system in accordance with a set temperature. The smart window control device includes a processor, and a memory storing program instructions that cause the processor to obtain a predicted value of external environment information about outside of the space in an interval between a first time and a second time, the second time being when a predetermined time period has elapsed from the first time, calculate transition of the temperature of the space in the interval based on the predicted value of the external environment information in the interval, and control the transmittance of the smart window so that the temperature of the space in the interval transitions based on the calculated transition of the temperature.
