摘要: Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) can be generated and stored on a digital ledger for use in controlling ownership of well log data in some examples described herein. In one such example, a system can encrypt well log data to generate encrypted well-log data. The system can then generate a new record that associates a non-fungible token with the encrypted well-log data, where the non-fungible token is usable to track ownership of the well log data. The system can then publish the new record to a digital ledger that is distributed among a plurality of computer nodes of a ledger network. The new record can be published to the digital ledger in response to at least a subset of the computer nodes reaching a consensus decision to add the new record to the digital ledger.

摘要: A method is described for estimating either flowback or the reservoir fluids production rate from either one individual inlet or the contribution from several inlets separated by intervals in a wellbore located in an oil and/or gas reservoir. The wellbore may include a casing with a plurality of magnetic irregularity elements, such as casing collars, to generate magnetic perturbations within the casing. In the method, one or more sensor elements are delivered in such a way that the flow drags them while the sensor elements record in time the magnetic perturbations generated by the magnetic irregularity elements. The known location of the magnetic irregularity elements and the reading of perturbations enables estimating the velocity of the sensor element(s) along the path direction of the casing, to determine the velocity of the fluid.

摘要: A method for controlling corrosion is described. The method includes determining a concentration of a first gas in a first formation, determining a concentration of a second gas different than the first gas in a second formation, determining a ratio between the first gas and the second gas, comparing the determined ratio to a threshold ratio of the first gas to the second gas for the wellbore which reduces a corrosion rate within the wellbore, and based on a result of comparing the determined ratio to the threshold ratio, modifying a quantity of the first formation fluid or the second formation fluid flowed into the wellbore. The first gas and the second gas mix within the wellbore.

摘要: Systems and methods presented herein facilitate operation of well-related tools. In certain embodiments, a variety of data (e.g., downhole data and/or surface data) may be collected to enable optimization of operations related to the well-related tools. In certain embodiments, the collected data may be provided as advisory data (e.g., presented to human operators of the well to inform control actions performed by the human operators) and/or used to facilitate automation of downhole processes and/or surface processes (e.g., which may be automatically performed by a computer implemented surface processing system (e.g., a well control system), without intervention from human operators). In certain embodiments, the systems and methods described herein may enhance downhole operations (e.g., milling operations) by improving the efficiency and utilization of data to enable performance optimization and improved resource controls of the downhole operations.

摘要: A method and system for a rotary steerable system (RSS). The method may comprise disposing the RSS into a borehole, identifying a failure from the one or more tracking measurements, the mechanical operation of the RSS, or the one or more sensors from a diagnostic review. Additionally, the method may further comprise flagging the failure with a failure code and reporting the failure and its mitigation actions to personnel in real time. The system may comprise one or more sensors configured to measure a location the RSS in a formation from one or more tracking measurements and monitor a mechanical operation of the RSS. The system may further comprise an information handling system.

摘要: Systems and methods for producing controlled vibrations within a borehole. In one example, the system includes a movement mechanism and a controller. The movement mechanism is configured to enable translational movement of a first surface relative to a second surface to allow the first surface to impact the second surface to produce a plurality of beats. The frequency and amplitude of the beats may be selectively controlled by suppressing or dampening the beats. The controller is configured to selectively control an amplitude or frequency of the beats to encode information therein, where the amplitude of a beat may be selectively controlled by dampening or suppressing the impact of the first surface and the second surface.

摘要: A multiple parameter sensing leak detection system may include one or more multi-parameter sensing modules capable of simultaneously measuring downhole temperature, pressure, and acoustic signals. The temperature and pressure detectors may include quartz based sensing elements, and the acoustic detector may include piezoelectric based sensing elements. In one or more embodiments, a plurality of sensing modules may be carried on a caliper for allowing radial identification of leak location. In one or more embodiments, multiple calipers, each carrying a circumferential arrangement of sensing modules may be used to identify annular or inter-annular leakage beyond production tubing using triangulation techniques. A leak analysis method identifies if relative pressure and temperature variation amplitudes fall outside leak thresholds and if power spectral density from noise has anomalous frequency signatures. A leak event may be identified by relative pressure and temperature variation amplitude and verified by power spectral density variation.
