摘要: The present disclosure provides pumped thermal energy storage systems that can be used to store electrical energy. A pumped thermal energy storage system of the present disclosure can store energy by operating as a heat pump or refrigerator, whereby net work input can be used to transfer heat from the cold side to the hot side. A working fluid of the system is capable of efficient heat exchange with heat storage fluids on a hot side of the system and on a cold side of the system. The system can extract energy by operating as a heat engine transferring heat from the hot side to the cold side, which can result in net work output. Systems of the present disclosure can employ solar heating for improved storage efficiency.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices are provided for thermal enhancement. Thermal enhancement may include absorbing heat from one or more devices. In some cases, this may improve the efficiency of the one or more devices. In general, a phase transition may be induced in a storage material. The storage material may be combined with a freeze point suppressant in order to reduce its melt point. The mixture may be used to boost the performance of device, such as an electrical generator, a heat engine, a refrigerator, and/or a freezer. The freeze point suppressant and storage material may be separated. By delaying the periods between each stage by prescribed amounts, the methods, systems, and devices may be able to shift the availability of electricity to the user and/or otherwise boost a device at different times in some cases.

摘要: Provided is a combustion system, and in particular a thermal decomposition system and plasma melting system, with which superheated steam is generated in an energy-efficient manner and the combustion structure has an improved combustion efficiency. A combustion system for making hot water coming from a boiler (11) into superheated steam with a superheated steam generation device (20) and supplying the superheated steam to a combustion structure (50) is provided with the following: the combustion structure (50) which combusts a fuel and a carbonaceous solid at 350 to 1,000° C.; a heat storage device (70) for storing waste heat from the combustion structure; and a heat exchange water tank (12) that is connected so as to allow heat exchange, through a heat transport medium, with heat from the heat storage device (70), and that heats water that is supplied to the boiler (11). The combustion system is provided with an oxyhydrogen gas supply structure (40) for heating the water supplied to the boiler (11) and also supplying an oxygen/hydrogen mixed gas, and a mixer (30) for mixing the superheated steam generated with the superheated steam generation device (20) and the oxygen/hydrogen mixed gas from the oxyhydrogen gas supply structure (40). The superheated steam is mixed with the oxyhydrogen gas and supplied to the combustion structure (50).

摘要: The invention relates to a thermal power station and a method for storing heat by means of a steam generator a water-steam cycle which is connected to the steam generator and to a thermal store. Said thermal store comprises a first container for a heat store medium when it is cold, a second container for the heat store medium when it is hot, and a heat exchanger which is connected to the two containers and which is connected to the heat-steam cycle via a water-steam feed line and a water-steam discharge line. The thermal store has an additional heat exchanger which is connected to the two containers, an air feed line and an air discharge line being provided, the air discharge line being connected to the combustion air feed line leading to the combustion chamber.
