    Abstract: A valve body for a valve of a coolant system; includes at least one tubular through channel for a coolant and a base body which is designed to be rotatable about an axis of rotation by a drive and has a contact surface for abutting against a sealing arrangement of a valve housing of the valve with at least two sealing portions and at least two sliding portions which lie on a spherical enveloping surface, The base body is divided by an equatorial plane arranged orthogonally to the axis of rotation.

    Abstract: A valve assembly includes an assembly housing and fluid valves disposed in the assembly housing. The assembly housing includes a first manifold that defines a plurality of first ports and a second manifold that defines a plurality of second valve ports. Each second valve port is associated with a corresponding one of the first ports to form a port pair. The assembly housing includes a valve chamber disposed between the first manifold and the second manifold. The valve chamber is in fluid communication with an interior space of the first manifold via the first ports and is in fluid communication with an interior space of the second manifold via the second valve ports.     Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for diagnosing a stuck Active Transmission Warmup (ATWU) valve. In one example, a method for an ATWU valve monitoring routine of a vehicle comprises determining a temperature difference between an engine coolant temperature (ECT) and a transmission fluid temperature (TFT) over a duration before the ATWU valve is commanded from a closed position to an open position or from the open position to the closed position comparing a rate of change of the TFT before and after the ATWU valve is commanded to the open position or the closed position; and indicating a stuck ATWU valve based on at least one of the temperature difference, the TFT rate of change comparison, or a combination thereof, based on a calibration parameter.

    Abstract: A device that includes a thermostatic element, with a piston and a body movable along an axis with respect to one another under the effect of the expansion of a thermodilatable material, and a stopper moved axially by the body with respect to a fixed seat so as to open and close a fluid circulation passage. The stopper includes a flexible seal which rests sealingly against the fixed seat in order to close the passage, and a rigid frame which fixedly supports the seal. The frame includes a central portion, mounted around the body to be driven by the body, and a peripheral part, folded towards the axis, partially crushing the seal. The seal is held in place on the frame by being pushed, radially to the axis, directly against the body of the thermostatic element under the effect of crushing the seal by the peripheral portion of the frame.
