    摘要: A rotary engine includes a housing, a crank dual-slider connecting rod mechanism, and rotary casings. The vertically arranged sliding grooves are provided in the housing. The crank dual-slider connecting rod mechanism is mounted on the housing. Sliders of the crank dual-slider connecting rod mechanism are respectively located in the sliding groove. The sliders are driven by a rotation of a crank to periodically compress a gas in the sliding grooves. The two rotary casings configured to rotate synchronously are mounted on an outer side of the housing. Each of the rotary casings is provided with a combustion chamber. Any of the rotary casings is in a transmission connection with a main shaft via a transmission system. The rotary casings drive the main shaft to rotate through a combustion of a compressed gas in the combustion chambers. The rotary engine achieves a good seal.

    摘要: A rotary combustion engine, such as a Wankel engine has a rotor with a rotor pocket for receiving air-fuel mixture that is combusted therein to propel the rotor within the housing. Rotor air channels extend from an inlet that is configured in the compression chamber to an outlet configured in the rotor pocket to deliver compressed air-fuel mixture to said rotor pocket. The rotor air channels have an open portion, open on the face of the rotor and a closed portion extending as a conduit into the rotor to the rotor pocket. Fuel may be delivered to the rotor air channel from a rotor-gear fuel conduit that receives fuel from the fixed gear or a side-wall fuel conduit that receives fuel from a housing side-wall injector through a side-wall fuel transfer port. Rotor air channels may be configured to direct air-fuel streams to intercept one another to enhance combustion.

    摘要: A pivoting flap valve is provided for an internal combustion rotary that produces mechanical torque. The engine includes an annular planar housing with a substantially circular annulus flanked by first and second cavities, an axial shaft, a rotor disposed on the shaft and rotating within the annulus. The valve is disposed within one cavity of said cavities and includes an arc wedge and a pivot shaft. The wedge has outer convex surface and an inner concave surface and a shaft hole between and parallel to the surfaces along a rocking axis. The pivot shaft passes through the shaft hole that enables the wedge to rock back and forth within the cavity in the annular planar housing without interference with the cam block. Each valve includes indents to pass around fore and aft circular wings on a rotor. The engine includes the housing, the rotor, first and second sparkplugs, first and second flap valves, an axial shaft and fore-and-aft covers. The housing includes a quadrilateral symmetry including a substantially circular annulus flanked by first and second cavities. The wings of the rotor intermittently block at least one port while the axial shaft rotates.

    摘要: A rotary engine that starts and operates on compression-ignition of a heavy fuel without a secondary ignition source. The rotary engine includes a rotor housing that forms an epitrochoidal-shaped chamber having linear side portions extending between rounded end portions. A three-flanked rotor is disposed in the chamber to rotate and operate in a manner similar to that of a common Wankel-style rotary engine. The rotor and chamber are configured to provide a compression ratio sufficient to produce compression-ignition of a heavy fuel. The rotor includes apex seal and side seal mounting blocks formed from hardened materials and that are simply removable from the rotor for replacing apex and side seals. The apex seals may include multiple non-parallel seal members at each apex and the apex seals and the side seals may overlap or intersect a corner seal to increase sealing under high compression loads produced by the rotor/chamber configuration.
