    Abstract: In some embodiments, a fuel rail for a two-stroke internal combustion engine includes a fuel rail body, a fuel inlet component integrated within the fuel rail body as a one-piece component and in fluidic contact with a fuel line, one or more fuel exit ports in fluidic contact with a cylinder of a combustion engine, and one or more fasteners adapted to secure the fuel rail body to a cylinder wall of the cylinder of the combustion engine.

    Abstract: A misfire detection apparatus for multi-cylinder engine is configured to detect a misfiring state in which any of a plurality of cylinders in an engine is misfiring, the engine including: the plurality of cylinders, and a catalyst device configured to purify exhaust gas from the plurality of cylinders. The apparatus includes: a rotation sensor configured to detect a rotational speed of the engine, and an electronic control unit including a processor and a memory coupled to the processor and configured to control operation of the engine. The processor detects the misfiring state of the engine based on the rotational speed of the engine detected by the rotation sensor.

    Abstract: A power system for a work vehicle, includes an intake arrangement configured to intake charge air; a fuel arrangement configured to provide at least one fuel; a compression ignition engine including a plurality of piston-cylinder sets configured to receive, ignite, and combust the at least one fuel from the fuel arrangement and intake gas that includes the charge air from the intake arrangement to generate mechanical power and exhaust gas; at least one compression ignition assistance apparatus associated with at least one of the intake arrangement and the fuel arrangement; and a controller coupled to command the compression ignition assistance apparatus, the intake arrangement, and the fuel arrangement such that, in an enhancement mode, the controller commands activation of the compression ignition assistance apparatus; and in a nominal mode, the controller commands or maintains deactivation of the compression ignition assistance apparatus.

    Abstract: A pendulum type mount system includes a pair of upper mounts that mount upper portions of a powerplant unit on a vehicle body, and a pair of first and second lower torque rods. The first and second lower torque rods are located on opposite sides to each other with respect to a reference plane including a gravity center of the powerplant unit. A first spring constant of the first lower torque rod is not smaller than a second spring constant of the second lower torque rod. A distance between a first plane including the first lower torque rod and the reference plane is not larger than a distance between a second plane including the second lower torque rod and the reference plane.

    Abstract: A forced-induction device includes a turbine wheel, a turbine housing, and a connection pipe. The connection pipe includes a partition wall that partitions the inside of the connection pipe into a first passage and a second passage. When a cross section orthogonal to a rotation axis of the turbine wheel is viewed, a line segment extending from the distal end of the partition wall toward the upstream side in the flow direction of exhaust gas and defining a boundary between the first passage and the partition wall is a first downstream line segment. A line segment extending from the distal end of the partition wall toward the upstream side in the flow direction of exhaust gas and defining a boundary between the second passage and the partition wall is a second downstream line segment. The first downstream line segment and the second downstream line segment are parallel to each other.
