摘要: A gaseous fuel engine system includes a hydrogen fuel supply, an engine housing having an intake port extending to a cylinder, and an intake runner. The intake runner includes a valve mount attached to a conduit and having a valve mounting face, and a gaseous fuel admission valve is mounted upon the valve mounting face. A hydrogen fuel passage extends from the valve mount through the conduit and is oriented angularly to at least one of a clamping face of the intake runner or the valve mounting face. Related apparatus and methodology is also disclosed.

摘要: An emissions evacuator system that collects natural gas vented from various components of a natural gas compressor system and directs the vented gases to the intake system of a natural gas engine of the compressor system. The evacuator system utilizes vacuum from an intake system of the natural gas engine contained on compressor packages to “suck up” the gaseous emissions from various emission sources on the compressor package. These emissions are rendered inert when combusted in the natural gas engine.

摘要: A fuel injector for gaseous fuel is provided. The fuel injector includes a valve assembly with a fuel flow valve and a second valve. The fuel flow valve is actively controlled to permit and prohibit gaseous fuel flow through the fuel injector. The second valve is spaced from the fuel flow valve and passively controlled to open in response to the gaseous fuel flow though the fuel flow valve, and to close when the gaseous fuel flow is terminated by closing the fuel flow valve.

摘要: An internal combustion engine assembly includes a fuel tank, connected via a fuel supply duct to a first fuel inlet of a cylinder, the cylinders with an outlet connected to an exhaust system. Exhaust gases from the exhaust system are in heat exchanging contact with a reformer unit for steam reforming of alcohol, the reformer unit being with a reformer outlet connected to a to a second fuel inlet of the cylinders for supplying hydrogen to the second fuel inlet. An alcohol evaporator is in heat exchanging contact with the exhaust gases. A water evaporator is in heat exchanging contact with the exhaust gases. A reformer purge duct extends from the exhaust system to the inlet of the reformer unit via a purge control valve, adapted for feeding exhaust gases into the reformer unit and via the reformer outlet to the second fuel inlet of the cylinders.

The second valve opens when a downstream pressure becomes lower than an upstream pressure by an amount that is greater than or equal to a specified pressure determined in advance.
