摘要: A rotary positive displacement pump includes a main body rotationally supporting two parallel, axially extending, shafts with gears in constant mesh condition, such that the shafts rotate in opposite directions. A rotor case body is connected to a front side of the main body and has a stationary interior pumping cavity, fluid product inlet and outlet openings, and two cylindrical rotor case hubs each receiving internally one of the shafts. A pair of rotors each have a rotor wing and a rotor drive element that is mounted torque proof on a rotor seat at an end region of one of the shafts. Each rotor seat pair has an axial abutment surface and a mounting surface. The pump also includes fasteners each engaging a mating section of one of the shafts and exerting an axial clamping force on one of the rotor drive elements against one of the axial abutment surfaces.

摘要: A positive displacement roots blower can include a housing having an inlet structured to receive an incoming flow of a fluid, an outlet structured to receive an outgoing flow of the fluid, and a passage. The positive displacement roots blower can also include a pair of intermeshed rotating members supported for complementary rotation within the housing, where the rotating members and the housing form respective operating volumes there between which rotate with the rotating members. Each of the respective operating volumes has the following regions: (1) open to inlet/closed to outlet; (2) closed to inlet/closed to outlet; and (3) closed to inlet/open to outlet. The passage includes a restriction and connects to at least one of the operating volumes when the at least one of the respective operating volumes is in region (2). The restriction can be a venturi feedback connecting to the outlet.

The pump housing includes an attachment surface extending in the axial direction and in contact with an attached body, first and second flow paths respectively on the suction side and the discharge side, and a partition wall positioned between pump-side openings of the first flow path and the second flow path facing the pump rotor, and extends in a direction along the attachment surface, and locations of attachment-side openings of the first flow path and the second flow path on the attachment surface are displaced from each other on the attachment surface in the axial direction.

摘要: A gear pump includes a pair of gears having meshed teeth. One of the gears is configured for connection to a source of drive. The gears are received within a housing. The housing has an inlet port configured for connection to a source of fluid and an outlet port. Each of the gears have a shaft rotating within the housing on a bearing on each axial side of each gear. At least one of the bearings associated with each of the pair of gears has a plurality of springs received in recesses to bias the said at least one bearing against an end face of a respective one of the pair of gears. A retention plate holds each of the plurality springs. A method of assembly is also disclosed.

摘要: A rotary, self-priming, positive displacement pump is described. The pump may include a pump housing including an inlet and an outlet, a pump chamber including an upper wall, a lateral wall, and a floor, first and second rotary impellers in the pump chamber, and a pair of gears each secured to the first and second rotary impellers, and a pressure relief feature operable to relieve pressure developing in a relatively high pressure zone of the pump chamber. The gears mesh with each other to ensure that the vanes do not contact one another during rotation. The pressure relief feature may comprise one or more channels formed in the pump housing and/or the first and second rotary impellers. The channels connect the high pressure zone with another zone to redistribute pressure. The channels may include one continuous channel or alternatively, a plurality of unconnected channels.
