摘要: The flywheel device includes a sealed housing section; a rotor located in the sealed housing section where the rotor is held in a vertical position by a magnetic system; a controller coupled to the magnetic system; and a braking annular ring mounted to the sealed housing section below the rotor, where the rotor contacts the braking annular ring when the rotor is lowered or otherwise dropped from the vertical position. The controller performs operations to provide control signals to provide first power to the magnetic system to hold the rotor in the vertical position and provide second control signals to provide second power to the magnetic system to lower the rotor.

摘要: In some examples, an assembly includes a rotor drive key configured to fit around a wheel boss defined by a wheel of a vehicle. The rotor drive key includes a support member. The assembly further comprises a fastener configured to extend through the wheel boss and the support member in a substantially axial direction of the wheel when the rotor drive key is fit around the wheel boss. A fastening member is configured to engage with a portion of the fastener extending beyond the support member.

摘要: The invention provides a method of reducing the cooling time for disks of a brake (5) of an aircraft wheel (1) fitted with a heat screen (10) extending between the wheel and the disks of the brake, and mounted to rotate on aircraft landing gear about an axis of rotation, the method comprising making perforations (11, 12, 13) through the heat screen to allow air heated by the disks to pass through the heat screen towards the wheel, the perforations being provided with obstacles to block any radiation from passing directly from the disks towards the wheel.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a wheel hub unit of a motor vehicle and to a method for producing such a wheel hub unit. The wheel hub unit includes a wheel hub and a contact flange firmly connected to the wheel hub. The contact flange includes a plurality of fastening elements for fastening a wheel rim, as well as a contact surface which is intended to come into mechanical contact, at least in part, with a brake hat of a brake disk when the brake disk is in the mounted state. At least part of the contact surface is provided with a thermally insulating coating. Alternatively, the entire contact surface is provided with the thermally insulating coating.
