    摘要: A differential device is provided with: a ring gear having a tooth row arranged around an axis to mesh with an input gear; an outer case combined with the ring gear and rotatable about the axis; an inner case rotatable about the axis relative to the outer case and having a toothed end with axially projecting dog teeth; a differential gear set supported by the inner case and to be coupled with a pair of axles to allow differential motion between the axles; a clutch member engaging with the outer case and disconnectably connecting with the dog teeth so as to prevent the inner case from rotating relative to the outer case; and perforations penetrating the outer case and opened on an outer face of the outer case, the perforations being so disposed as to expose the dog teeth radially outwardly from the outer case.

    摘要: A power transmission device includes a motor, a first planetary reduction gear connected downstream of the motor, a second planetary reduction gear connected downstream of the first planetary reduction gear, a differential gear connected downstream of the second planetary reduction gear, a drive shaft connected downstream of the differential gear, and a case member. The drive shaft penetrates an inner circumference of a rotor of the motor, an inner circumference of a sun gear of the first planetary reduction gear, and an inner circumference of a sun gear of the second planetary reduction gear. A portion of the differential case positioned between the first planetary reduction gear and the second planetary reduction gear is supported at an inner circumference side of a portion of the case member with a first bearing being interposed.

A cover included a second opening through which the other of the axles passes, and is combined with the housing to support a second end of the differential device, wherein the wall portion, the ring gear, and the shaft are arranged, from the wall portion toward the cover, in an order of the wall portion, the ring gear, and the shaft.

    摘要: An axle assembly with a housing, an annular gear, a bearing, a differential, and a pair of output shafts. The housing has an annular hub. The annular gear is received in the housing. The bearing, which is a four-point angular contact bearing, supports the gear for rotation about an axis relative to the housing and has an inner bearing race, which is mounted on the annular hub, and an outer bearing race that is fixedly coupled to the annular gear. The differential is received in the housing and includes an input member, which is coupled to the annular gear for rotation therewith, and a pair of output members that are rotatable relative to the input member about the output axis. Each of the output shafts is coupled to an associated one of the output members for rotation therewith. One of the output shafts extends through the annular hub.
