    Abstract: A work vehicle has two transaxles carried by a chassis each having wheel end units rotatable to drive ground-engaging members about wheel axes and having electric machines powering transmission configured to effect multiple gear ratios. The electric transaxles are operationally mechanically uncoupled. One or more sensors detect speed, heading, and loading characteristics of the work vehicle. A controller, having memory and processing architecture, is configured to process control to: receive from the one or more sensors input of the speed, heading, and loading characteristics of the work vehicle. The controller determines a shift pair sequence for shifting the first transmission and the second transmission based on the received input of the speed, heading, and loading characteristics of the work vehicle. The shift pair sequence defines a shift time (tS1) for shifting the first transmission and a shift time (tS2) for shifting the second transmission in which the shift time tS1 is the same or different than the shift time tS2. The controller generates a first shift command to shift the first transmission at the shift time tS1 while the second electric transaxle drives the work vehicle and generate a second shift command to shift the second transmission at the shift time tS2 while the first electric transaxle drives the work vehicle.

    Abstract: A control system of a vehicle includes an automatic transmission provided with a plurality of friction engagement elements changeable between engaged and disengaged states, and configured to form a plurality of gear stages by changing a combination of three friction engagement elements to be selectively engaged among the friction engagement elements, and a controller which controls the change between the engaged and disengaged states of each friction engagement element. The controller performs a neutral control in which, for setting the automatic transmission to a neutral state in which a driving force of a drive source is not transmitted to driving wheels, while two of the three friction engagement elements engaged when forming each gear stage are kept engaged, the remaining one of the three friction engagement element is disengaged. The two friction engagement elements engaged during the neutral control are common in at least two adjacent gear stages.

    Abstract: Control systems and methods for a vehicle transmission initiate a shift operation of the transmission and, during the transmission shift operation, determine an acceleration of a torque generating system output shaft based on its measured rotational speed and determine an acceleration of the transmission output shaft based on its measured rotational speed, identify an error source using a transmission model that maps differences between the determined and target accelerations back to torque generating system error and/or transmission clutch torque error and, based on the identified error source, adjust the actuation of at least some of the plurality of clutches to compensate for the torque generating system error and/or transmission clutch torque error to mitigate or eliminate noise/vibration/harshness (NVH) caused by the transmission shift operation.

    Abstract: A motor vehicle includes an electric drive machine and a coupling mechanism for switching between a coupling position, in which the electric drive machine is coupled to a drive wheel of the motor vehicle, and a decoupling position in which the electric drive machine is decoupled from the drive wheel. The motor vehicle further includes a parking lock device which has a parking lock element movable between a parking lock position, in which the parking lock element blocks a rotation of the drive wheel, and an unlocking position in which the parking lock element releases rotation of the drive wheel. The motor vehicle also includes an actuation device to actuate a clutch of the coupling mechanism, which clutch has a switching element for switching between the coupling position and the decoupling position, and moving the parking lock element between the parking lock position and the unlocking position.
