摘要: A fluid pressure reducing valve apparatus includes a pressure reducing valve. The valve has: a body containing a fluid-flow chamber, a liquid supply orifice into the chamber, a liquid outlet from the chamber, a regulation plate opposed to the orifice, a spring acting to urge the plate towards the orifice, and a diaphragm between the plate and the body to close the chamber between them. A controllable motor drive acts between the body and an end of the spring remote from the plate. A flow meter is positioned downstream of the outlet. A controller is arranged to receive flow data from the flow meter and to control the motor drive for withdrawal of the remote end of the spring in accordance with flow rate measured by the flow meter. For an increase in demand flow, the plate is partially withdrawn to maintain downstream pressure on such increase and vice versa.

摘要: The invention relates to a pressure-controlled shut-off valve (1) for temporarily interrupting the air supply to a fuel cell stack in a fuel cell system, comprising a valve piston (3) which can be moved back and forth in a cylindrical housing bore (2) and which is biased in the direction of a seal seat (5) by the spring force of a spring (4), wherein a connection between an air inlet channel (6) and an air outlet channel (7) is produced or interrupted depending on the axial position of the valve piston (3). According to the invention, the valve piston (3) delimits a spring chamber (8), which receives the spring (4) and to which ambient pressure is applied, on one side and a control chamber (9), which is connected to the air inlet channel (7), on the other side within the housing bore (2). The invention additionally relates to a fuel cell system comprising a shut-off valve (1) according to the invention.

摘要: A depressurisation valve for a cooling system including a main chamber having a main valve, a pilot line having a secondary valve and a blowdown line; the main valve being located to seal a path of the coolant system of the nuclear reactor. The main chamber is connected to the cooling circuit via the pilot line allowing coolant to enter the main chamber, and the blowdown line allows coolant to escape from the main chamber, the pilot line having a lower fluid resistance than the blowdown line. The pressure of coolant in the main chamber maintains the main valve in a closed position, and under elevated temperature and/or pressure conditions fluid is prevented from entering the main chamber via a closure of the secondary valve on the pilot line and reduce the pressure from the valve, moving it to its open position.

摘要: A pressure valve includes a housing having bottom portion defining a bottom opening configured to be in communication with a vessel and a sidewall defining an internal cavity. The housing includes a vent aperture configured to provide fluid communication between the internal cavity and ambient air surrounding the pressure valve and an accessory aperture configured to couple an accessory to the housing. A seal seat is positioned within the internal cavity fluidly between the vent aperture and the bottom opening. A pressure control assembly is coupled to the housing. The pressure control assembly breaks a sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to a desired positive pressure being reached within the vessel or in response to a negative pressure being reached in the vessel. The accessory aperture is positioned between the bottom opening and the seal seat.

摘要: A check valve bleed assembly eliminates the requirement for a person to enter the red zone when bleeding the grease out of a gate or other valve. A gas or other fluid is provided to the check valve bleed assembly. The gas or other fluid acts upon the surface driving a pin into the associated check valve with sufficient force to overcome the resistance of the object sitting on a seat and moves the object off of the seat. The force is maintained as long as is necessary. Usually, the check valve is held open until the gate transitions into the gate's associated gate recess thereby displacing the grease within the gate recess through the check valve, into the check valve bleed assembly, and finally to a waste collection tube. In some embodiments a gate valve greasing access port is included in the check valve bleed assembly such that grease may be injected into the check valve bleed assembly.
