    Abstract: A ceiling fan brace bracket assembly with a bracket, at least two holes, at least one first screw, and at least one second screw. The bracket has a channel that opens toward a bottom of the bracket and at least one lip that extends along the channel. The channel is sized and shaped to extend around a ceiling fan brace. The at least two holes extend through the at least one lip, and each of the at least two holes is configured to align with a corresponding screw hole in an electrical box. The at least one first screw is a press-fit screw and is configured to extend downward through a first hole of the at least two holes.     Abstract: A quick release support system for a case for a portable device is provided. In one embodiment, for example, the quick release system comprises a case and a bracket. The case comprises a ramp, a ramp engagement surface disposed at a proximal edge of the ramp, at least one tab guide displaced from the ramp engagement surface, and a latch lock port. The at least one tab guide and the latch lock port is defined by the case. The bracket comprises a ramp tab extending from the bracket in a first direction the ramp tab adapted to engage the ramp engagement surface of the case. The bracket also comprises at least one tab and a latch lock. The at least one tab extends from the bracket in the first direction, and the at least one tab is adapted to extend into the at least one tab guide. A latch lock of the bracket comprises a latch lock engagement surface and a latch surface. The latch lock engagement surface is biased in a second direction. The latch surface is adapted to overcome the bias in a direction opposite the second direction to overcome the bias force and allow insertion of the latch lock engagement surface into the latch lock port and to be released by the bias force to engage the latch lock engagement surface with the latch lock port.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes a mounting platform comprising a retainer plate opening that includes a first opening profile at a top platform surface of the mounting platform and a second opening profile at a bottom platform surface of the mounting platform. the top platform surface first receives a retainer plate when nested within the mounting platform, and the bottom platform surface abuts the retainer plate when the retainer plate is nested within the mounting platform. The first opening profile matches a planform profile of the retainer plate and is etched into the top platform surface through to the bottom platform surface, and the second opening profile is etched from midway between the top platform surface and the bottom platform surface through to the bottom platform surface. The second opening profile corresponding to a rotational offset of the first opening profile by a predetermined angle.
