    摘要: The Autonomous Oil Change System allows a user to arrive at a station and conduct an oil change on their vehicle. They do so by opening the lid/cover located on the front of the car on the machine to process the payment. This permits the user to insert their debit/credit card on the machine to process their payment and to begin the process and receive an oil change in a few minutes with a receipt and a date recommendation for their next oil change. The system then performs the oil change autonomously. A first hose extends from an oil pan of a vehicle to an externally accessible point on the vehicle. A sensor indicates a level of oil and generates a signal for a pump to draw an oil in the oil pan via the hose externally accessible on the vehicle based on the signal from the sensor.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for changing engine motor oil more quickly and simply than previously existing methods. To change oil on a gasoline or diesel engine, the conventional oil filter is removed and an adapter is screwed in its place. An inlet oil port of the adapter connects with the oil filter inlet line and an outlet port of the adapter connects to the oil filter outlet line. The adapter top is sealed with a recessed O-ring extending around the periphery so that oil can be pumped through the adapter into and out of the engine without leaking. The adapter inlet and outlet ports are connected by hoses/tubes to an external container with its own internal piston. The engine is turned on to idle and the engine oil pump pumps used oil from the oil pan out through the adapter outlet port into the external container. An external feed pump or valve can be used with an accumulator to temporarily hold a portion of the new oil pushed out of the piston/cylinder reducing the initial oil flow back into the engine providing enough oil flow and pressure to maintain adequate lubrication and reduce the dilution of new oil with used oil maximizing the quality of the replacement oil and minimizing the amount of new oil required in the displacement process.

The support can include a support surface that has an engine access opening, a rolling mechanism attached to the support surface that affords for the support surface to roll over a surface at a predetermined height and at least one ramp attached to the support surface. The at least one ramp can be movable between a retracted position and an extended position and the support is dimensioned to roll over the service pit and allow for servicing of the non-automotive vehicle engine. In some instances, the support affords for the non-automotive vehicle to have its oil changed.

The shuttle and auxiliary tanks are made of an oil and fuel resistant and leak proof material so that they can hold waste fluids until they are transferred to a shop's waste fluids disposal tank, without spills, threats to the environment, human contact with contaminating oil fuels or coolants, clean up costs, and lost time.

    摘要: The present invention is an apparatus for draining fluid from a holding tank. The apparatus further comprises a first portion having an axial bore extending therethrough, the axial bore being defined by an upper end and a lower end. An outer wall surrounds the axial bore extending from the lower end to the upper end. The upper end is adapted to engage an existing drain of the holding tank such that fluid communication is established between the axial bore and the holding tank. At least one notch is formed within the outer wall of the bore. A second portion has a plate member with a plurality of leg members. The lower end of the bore being is permanently affixed to the plate member. A reservoir surrounds the leg members. The reservoir has a base portion with an external wall extending upward therefrom to surround the leg members. Each leg member extends downward into the base portion and being permanently affixed thereto. The base portion has an aperture for providing an outlet for drainage of the fluid from the holding tank.

The pressurized air manifold is supplied with pressurized air from a source of pressurized air. The vacuum manifold is placed under vacuum by a vacuum source. The pressurized air manifold is connected to a new lubricant hose coupling. The vacuum manifold is connected to a used lubricant hose coupling. A valve assembly is provided having a used lubricant removal mode and a new lubricant injection mode. In the used lubricant removal mode, a vacuum is applied by the vacuum manifold to create a vacuum to draw lubricant into a used lubricant tank. In the new lubricant injection mode, pressurized air is supplied by the pressurized air manifold to pressurize a new lubricant tank, which urges lubricant out of the new lubricant tank.

The filter is then weighed to determine the weight of contaminants collected in the filter. The contaminant weight is compared to a predetermined level, wherein the gearbox is acceptable if the contaminant weight is below the predetermined level. This method is carried out on a system that includes a source of the oil-based fluid fluidly connected to an inlet of the gearbox and a filter fluidly connected to an outlet of the gearbox. A device such as a pump is provided for causing the oil-based fluid to flow through the gearbox and the filter.

    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and process for exchanging an engine fluid for maintenance purposes. The fluid is accessed through the engines reservoir for that particular fluid. Used fluid is removed simultaneously with the introduction of new fluid. In order to maintain a constant level of fluid in the reservoir, and thus, prevent overflow or cavitation problems, a control module is presented that enables the user to control the rate of new fluid flow into the reservoir relative to the rate of used fluid and to activate and deactivate the new and used fluid pumps. During operation, the module is located in close proximity to the reservoir such that the user is able to observe the fluid level while relating the flows.
