Abstract: The lighting device disclosed at an embodiment of the invention comprises: a reflective member; a resin layer disposed on the reflective member; a light emitting device disposed to correspond to one side surface of the resin layer; and a light wavelength conversion layer disposed on one surface of the resin layer. The light wavelength conversion layer includes a main phosphor pattern disposed in a long axis direction of the resin layer, the main phosphor pattern includes a first unit-phosphor pattern disposed in a first region and a second unit-phosphor pattern disposed in a second region, the first region may be located closer to the light emitting device than the second region, and a width of the first unit-phosphor pattern may be less than a width of the second unit-phosphor pattern.

Abstract: A directional illumination device for a vehicle external light comprises an array of light sources and an imaging waveguide comprising an input surface and a reflective end. Opposed guide surfaces are arranged to guide input light from the input surface to the reflective end and back along the waveguide after reflection at the reflective end, the waveguide being arranged to extract input light as it is guided back along the waveguide after reflection and to cause the extracted light to exit through the first guide surface. The reflective end has positive optical power in the direction laterally across the waveguide and the waveguide is arranged to direct the extracted light in respective output illumination directions distributed in a lateral direction in dependence on the input positions of the light sources in the direction laterally across the waveguide. A thin, high brightness and high efficiency controllable directional vehicle headlight is provided.

Abstract: A lighting device for a vehicle contains a light module with at least one light-emitting diode and a light-emitting surface lit by the at least one light-emitting diode, from which light is emitted when the lighting device is in use. The illumination apparatus is configured such that light emitted by the light source enters the incident surface of the optical waveguide in the direction of the reflective region, is reflected by the reflective region inside the optical waveguide in the direction of the hologram and interacts with the hologram. The average distance between the light source and the incident surface is at least half as great as the average distance between the reflective region and the hologram.

Abstract: To allow light from one or one group of light sources to be used for a plurality of applications. A lens structure for a vehicle lamp includes a light transmitter and a reflective surface. The light transmitter is configured to transmit light in a predetermined horizontal direction. The reflective surface is provided at an upper portion of an end portion of the light transmitter in the predetermined horizontal direction. A direction perpendicular to the reflective surface is inclined toward a direction opposite to the predetermined horizontal direction from a direction directly downward. The reflective surface totally reflects the light travelling in the predetermined horizontal direction downward. The light transmitted from below the reflective surface in the light transmitter in the predetermined horizontal direction radiates in the predetermined horizontal direction, and the light reflected by the reflective surface illuminates a road surface.
