摘要: An illuminating headwear device and kit are shown and described. The illuminating headwear device and kit includes a headwear device. The headwear device is configured to removably secure about the head of an individual. The headwear devices also include a power source. The power source is coupled to at least one light. The at least one light is secured to the headwear device such that the light is pointed in a direction which will, at least partially, illuminate the individual's shoulders, torso, and back when the headwear device is worn. In one instance an on/off switch will allow for the at least one light be turned on and off. The kit further includes an illumination garment. The illumination garment will glow when the beam from the at least one light hits it.

摘要: A headlamp assembly comprising an adjustable strap, a mount receiver, a light, and a mount attachment. The mount receiver is coupled to the adjustable strap. The light includes a body, a head pivotably coupled relative to the body by a hinge, and a light emitting element supported on the head. The mount attachment includes a first attachment structure configured to selectively engage the light and a second attachment structure configured to selectively engage the mount receiver. The first attachment structure and second attachment structure are operable independent of one another such that the light is capable of being removed from the mount receiver either by removing the light from the mount attachment or by removing the light and the mount attachment from the mount receiver.

摘要: Various different embodiments of headbands are disclosed, each having a light apparatus and, in particular, a removable light apparatus that is rechargeable through a USB connection. The embodiments each has a grommet that accommodates the passing of a portion of the light apparatus therethrough for frictional fit therewith such that the light apparatus is retained in place by the frictional fit with the grommet and light is projected by the light apparatus outwardly from the grommet when the light apparatus is turned on. The embodiments of the headband differ in the structure of the body and the relationship of the grommet to the body. A preferred embodiment is formed from a cotton elastane blend and includes a pocket from within which the light apparatus is partially received by the grommet. The pocket is formed by overlapping end portions of two interior fabric panels forming the interior surface of the headband.

A second housing is attached to the occipital basket, and a headband adjuster is attached to the occipital basket to change a circumference of the headpiece by controlling a distance between respective opposing ends of the headband and the second housing.

摘要: Disclosed are various embodiments for a lighting system. The lighting system may include a headguard adapted to be worn on a head of an operator, where the headguard comprising a headguard cavity, as well as an elongated flashlight base comprising a flashlight base cavity. A detachable flashlight head is adapted to be positioned in either of the headguard cavity and the flashlight base cavity. The detachable flashlight is sized and positioned such that, when positioned in the headguard cavity, the detachable flashlight magnetically and electrically couples to the headguard. Similarly, the detachable flashlight is sized and positioned such that, when positioned in the flashlight base cavity, the detachable flashlight magnetically and electrically couples to the elongated flashlight base.

摘要: A surgical headlight system has a headlamp. The surgical headlight system can further include a headwear structure, configured to be worn on a surgeon's head during surgery, supporting the headlamp. The surgical headlight system can further include a video camera configured to record surgery. The headlamp, the headwear structure and the video camera all have an exterior surface. An antimicrobial coating is applied to the exterior surface of the headlamp, the exterior surface of the video camera, and/or the exterior surface of the headwear structure. The antimicrobial coating includes a silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof. The antimicrobial coating imparts antimicrobial properties onto the exterior surface to which it is applied, such as the exterior surface of the headlamp. The silane quaternary ammonium ion or salt thereof can be one or more of 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride, 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium ion, or 3-(trihydroxysilyl)propyldimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride.
