Abstract: A motor controller for a burner system includes an inverter that supplies current to a motor that rotates a draft inducer fan. A processor is coupled to the inverter and receives a signal from a system controller, and in response instructs the inverter to supply a first current, during a first period, to the motor to rotate the fan to produce a first mass flow through the burner system, the first mass flow having a first mass flow rate greater than a threshold to actuate a vacuum switch. The processor then instructs the inverter to supply a second current, during a second period starting at an expiration of the first period, to the motor to rotate the fan to produce a second mass flow through the burner system, the second mass flow having a target mass flow rate for normal operation of the burner.

Abstract: A fluid mixer configured to stably supply a mixed fluid having a desired mixing ratio, and which can be reduced in size. This fluid mixer includes a Venturi tube having a constriction section at which the flow path area is reduced, the Venturi tube having formed therein a first inflow opening and a second inflow opening through which a second fluid flows into a low-pressure region produced due to an increase in fluid velocity when a first fluid passes through the constriction section. A valve body that is disposed within the Venturi tube, the valve body closing due to the pressure of the first fluid passing through the Venturi tube and changing the flow path area of the Venturi tube, blocking off the first inflow opening when closed, and opening the first inflow opening when opened; and a biasing part (elastic body) applying a biasing force in the valve closing direction of the valve body.

Abstract: A burner assembly for a cooktop includes a housing defining a first group of radially-spaced fuel outlets extending from an interior to an exterior of the housing, a first aperture extending through the housing and spaced outward of the first group of outlets, and a second group of radially-spaced fuel outlets extending from the interior to the exterior and spaced outward of the first aperture. A first switch assembly is mounted within the housing and includes a first pin extending upwardly through the first aperture to an end positioned above the housing. The end of the first pin is moveable in a first direction inward and outward with respect to the housing to control a direction of a first portion of a flow of fuel to the second group of outlets. A second portion of the flow of fuel is continuously directed to the first group of outlets.

Abstract: A gas combustor comprises a gas container, a fuel gas controlling device, a housing, a piezoelectric device and a combustion device. The safety switch is slidably disposed in an opening of the housing and includes a slide member, a fasten member and a passive member, adjacent surfaces of the slide member and the fasten member are disposed with a connecting mechanism and a radial sliding mechanism, thereby enabling the slide member to perform a radial sliding motion towards the left or the right at the front end of the fasten member; a rear surface of the passive member is formed with a lock tenon abutted against a block tenon of the fuel gas controlling device, thereby forming a lucked status; when the slide member is pulled towards the left or the right, the lock tenon is released from the block tenon, thereby forming an unlocked status.

Abstract: A gas water heater includes a water tank, a combustion chamber, a burner, a heat exchanger tube at least partially within the water tank, and a fan. The burner receives fuel gas and primary air from a first air-supply channel to create a primary air-fuel mixture for combustion in the combustion chamber with secondary air. The primary air-fuel mixture has a gas concentration above the upper explosive limit of the fuel gas. Secondary air is supplied through a second air-supply channel to the combustion chamber. The secondary air creates a low excess air ratio (e.g., below 1.5) for combustion in the combustion chamber. A totally sealed channel is defined from the air inlet of the fan to the heat exchanger tube.

Abstract: A waste heat recovery system is coupled to a flare or exhaust stack of, for example, a landfill gas treatment system, to recover at least a portion of the energy within the exhaust produced by the gas treatment system and provides the recovered energy either indirectly or directly to a secondary process, such as a wastewater treatment process, to thereby reduce the amount of energy needed to be otherwise input into the secondary process. For indirect transfer of energy the waste heat recovery system includes a transfer pipe connected between the exhaust stack of a primary process and a heat exchange unit while an induction fan connected to the transfer pipe operates to create a draft within the transfer pipe to facilitate movement of some of the exhaust gas from the exhaust stack of the primary process to the heat exchange unit.
