In examples, the piping connection system and method may include a transition member configured to bond or connect to the double pipe system and to the housing. In examples, the piping connection system may include a baffle configured to redirect flow from the housing to the double pipe system through an opening and towards the transition member. In examples, the piping connection system and method may be used to manufacture a quench exchanger such as a primary quench exchanger.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of fluid heat transfer, and discloses a heat transfer enhancement pipe as well as a cracking furnace and an atmospheric and vacuum heating furnace including the same. The heat transfer enhancement pipe (1) includes a pipe body (10) of tubular shape having an inlet (100) for entering of a fluid and an outlet (101) for said fluid to flow out; internal wall of the pipe body (10) is provided with a fin (11) protruding towards interior of the pipe body (10), wherein the fin (11) has one or more fin sections extending spirally in the axial direction of the pipe body (10), and each fin section has a first end surface facing the inlet (100) and a second end surface facing the outlet (101), at least one of the first end surface and the second end surface of at least one of the rib sections is formed as a transition surface along spirally extending direction. The heat transfer enhancement pipe can reduce thermal stress of itself, thereby increasing service life of the heat transfer enhancement pipe.

摘要: There is provided a heat exchanger comprising: a conduit defining an inlet flow path for a fluid; a header disposed to receive a flow from the inlet flow path; a heat exchanger matrix disposed to receive a flow from the header; and a swirler disposed within the conduit and the header. The swirler is arranged to disperse a flow from the inlet flow path over the heat exchanger matrix. The conduit, header, and swirler are formed as a unitary piece by additive manufacturing.

摘要: A connecting structure includes a vapor chamber, a heat pipe and a working fluid. The vapor chamber includes a half shell seat, a half shell cover and a first wick structure. The half shell cover is sealed with the half shell seat and a chamber is defined therebetween. The half shell cover has a through hole and an annular wall. The first wick structure is laid on an inner surface of the half shell cover and extended into the annular wall. The heat pipe includes a tube body and a second wick structure. The tube body has an opening and a flange. The heat pipe is upright connected to an outer periphery of the annular wall by the opening. The flange is closely attached to an outer surface of the half shell cover. The second wick structure contacts the first wick structure. The working fluid is disposed in the chamber.

摘要: A plate heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer plates stacked together and each having openings at four corners thereof. The heat transfer plates are partially brazed together such that a first flow passage through which first fluid flows and a second flow passage through which second fluid flows are alternately arranged with one of the heat transfer plates disposed therebetween, openings at the four corners being connected forming first headers through which the first fluid enters and is discharged and second headers through which the second fluid enters and is discharged. At least one of two heat transfer plates between which the first flow passage or the second flow passage is disposed is formed by a pair of metal plates stacked together. The metal plate adjacent to the second flow passage is thinner than the metal plate adjacent to the first flow passage.

摘要: Conduits for cooling a hydrocarbon stream and processes for using same. The conduit can include a first inner wall defining a first bore, a second inner wall defining a second bore, and an outer wall disposed about the first and second inner walls. The conduit can also include an annular support wall connected to an inner surface of the outer wall. An end of the second inner wall and an end of the annular support wall can define a perimeter opening that can be in fluid communication with the second bore. An annular flexible ring can be bonded to the annular support wall and can flexibly contact the first inner wall. A substantially annular cavity can be disposed between the second inner and the outer walls and in fluid communication with the perimeter opening. A quench fluid introduction port can be configured to introduce a quench fluid into the cavity.

摘要: A chemical storage tank assembly for storing sulfuric compounds includes a plurality of bricks that is each comprised of basalt. In this way each of the bricks can resist ingress of sulfuric compounds into the bricks. The plurality of bricks are arranged to define a floor, a plurality of walls and a roof of a storage tank to contain sulfuric compounds. A grout is positioned between each of the bricks for binding the bricks together to define the storage tank. Additionally, the grout is comprised of calcium silicate to resist the ingress of sulfuric compounds into the grout.
