摘要: The techniques described herein relate to methods and apparatus for firearm safety mechanisms, visual safety indicators, and related techniques. A firearm includes a handle comprising one or more buttons disposed at least partially within a surface of the handle, such that the one or more buttons can be in contact with an operator's hand when the operator grasps the handle; a safety mechanism in mechanical communication with the trigger. The safety mechanism comprises: a first position that blocks actuation of the trigger; and a second position that does not block actuation of the trigger; and at least one processor configured to: upon determining an input code matches a stored code, transmits a signal to the safety mechanism to change the safety mechanism from the first position to the second position so that the firearm can be fired by the operator.

An example assembly includes a lower trigger body comprising a trigger lever; a disconnector rotatable relative to the lower trigger body; a trigger tower rotatable relative to the lower trigger body and the disconnector, the trigger tower defining a trigger tower hook; and a hammer defining a hammer sear hook configured to engage the trigger tower hook to hold the hammer in a cocked position. In response to application of a force to the trigger lever, the lower trigger body may rotate and cause the trigger tower to rotate to release the trigger tower hook from the hammer sear hook.

摘要: This disclosure provides a trigger lock system that includes a trigger lock that collects a fingerprint and unlocks when the fingerprint matches a stored fingerprint. The trigger lock includes a wireless communication module, for example, Bluetooth module and a Thread module, such that it can connect to a user device by Bluetooth or internet through a Thread router. The trigger lock may be unlocked remotely by sending a command from the user device. The trigger lock may send information of each attempt to unlock the trigger lock by fingerprint to the user device. The trigger lock may send alerts to the user device. The trigger lock also includes an alarm that produces alert when unauthorized personnel attempts to unlock the trigger lock.

摘要: A firearm safety device having a bolt for insertion through a trigger guard toward the lower receiver of the firearm. The bolt is inserted through the trigger guard so as to be positioned behind the trigger, in an axis generally perpendicular to the direction of pull of the trigger to prevent the trigger from be depressed and thus firing the weapon. The bolt extends from a base, which can be static in the form of a fixed bolt, or dynamic with the bolt configured for mechanized or electromechanical insertion through the trigger guard, such as by a lever operation, solenoid operation, or other operation. In one embodiment the safety device has a bolt affixed to a base, with the base configured to attach to the trigger guard. This embodiment provides a freely mobile transportable safety device. The safety device can be used with or integral with a firearm support mount, such as a gun rack. In this preferred with the bolt and/or base providing support beneath the firearm, while a front mount is provided to support the front of the lower receiver, or alternatively the stock or barrel of the firearm.

摘要: A selective fire firearm may be provided having a fully automatic open bolt and a semi-automatic closed bolt mode of operation. The firearm may include a trigger group having a trigger prop that ensures that, when the trigger is released in the fully automatic open bolt mode, the bolt carrier stops in an open bolt position held by an open bolt sear. The trigger prop may include a foot that, following a first trigger pull in the fully automatic open bolt mode, slides under and props a rear end of the trigger in a position that allows the open bolt sear to catch the bolt carrier when the trigger is released and propped but prevents the trigger sear from engaging the hammer.

摘要: A takedown lever assembly for a semiautomatic handgun includes a receiver, a slide displaceable along a top of the receiver, a grip portion defining a magazine well, and a fire control group that includes a trigger pivotable between a resting position and a pulled trigger position. The takedown lever assembly includes a takedown actuation lever operable between a firing position and a takedown position. In the takedown position the takedown actuation lever permits removal of the slide from the frame. A safety block is operatively coupled to the takedown actuation lever, wherein moving the takedown actuation lever from the firing position to the takedown position moves the safety block rearward, thereby blocking the trigger from rotating to the pulled trigger position. In some embodiments, the takedown lever rotates counterclockwise from the firing position to the takedown position as viewed looking at a left side of the handgun.

摘要: A trigger assembly group for use in firearms is disclosed. The trigger assembly group comprises a primary trigger connected to a secondary trigger that is arranged and configured to reduce the incidence of accidental discharge caused by inadvertently rearwardly actuating a primary trigger. The disclosed primary trigger and secondary trigger are arranged and configured for linear movement within a housing. The secondary trigger includes locking wing members that move from engagement with upper locking housing grooves to lower housing grooves. The disclosed trigger assembly group further includes a trigger shoe connected to the primary trigger, wherein the trigger shoe comprises a channel formed therein. A lower portion of the secondary trigger is configured to move from a forwardmost position, extending outwardly from the front face of the trigger shoe, to a rearmost position in which the lower portion of the secondary trigger recedes into the channel of the trigger shoe.
