摘要： A firearm bore cleaner for cleaning a bore of a firearm includes a cleaning segment and a pulling segment. The cleaning segment cleans the bore of the firearm when the cleaning segment is moved along the bore. The cleaning segment includes a tail end connector adjacent a tail end portion. The pulling segment is sized and shaped to be inserted into the bore. The pulling segment includes a head end connector adjacent the head end portion of the pulling segment. A tail end portion of the pulling segment is connected to a head end portion of the cleaning segment. The head end connector of the pulling segment and the tail end connector of the cleaning segment can be releasably connect to each other to couple the head end portion of the pulling segment and the tail end portion of the cleaning segment together in order to form a closed loop.

摘要： Applicant has disclosed a handheld tool and related method for cleaning and lubricating: the entire star chamber in a firearm (e.g., AR-15 and M-14 rifles), including the top lands, bottom lands, and canted faces of the locking lugs forming a star inlet to the chamber in a rifle; and the remaining headspace of the firearm. One tool embodiment comprises: a paddle grip; a midsection shank; and a generally T-shaped foam swab affixed over an end portion of the shank, wherein the swab has two wings and a stem. The wings are designed to fit, simultaneously or contemporaneously, between and against opposing faces of different pairs of successive locking lugs and against bottom lands of those different pairs. Afterwards, the swab can be pushed through the star inlet to clean the chamber portion behind the inlet, including the backside of the inlet.

摘要： A pull-through applicator assembly for maintenance of a gun barrel. The pull-through applicator assembly is a unitary, disposable, and configured for easy manufacturing relative to conventional pull-through assemblies. The economics of the disclosed pull-through applicator assembly is sufficient to permit packaging and sale as a disposable unit, for discarding after a single use. The single-use aspect enables the fibrous body to be configured primarily for compliance to the internal geometry of the gun barrel (e.g., the grooves of the rifling) without need for considering the durability over multiple uses. Accordingly, enhanced contact with the internal geometry of the gun barrel is realized in the convenient form of a pull-through applicator that is disposable. The pull-through applicator may be configured of biodegradable materials to enhance the disposable aspect.
