摘要： A video recording device, holster and article of clothing are disclosed to reliably and covertly provide for the capture of video, audio, and metadata, and perform other commands. The holster may be provided with a carrier that is, in turn, inserted into the holster. In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user, and establishes a docked position. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.

摘要： A firearm holster has an outer wall, extending between a muzzle end and a breech end, defining a cavity configured to receive a firearm. A magnet and/or magnet assembly may be included, wherein the magnet is at least partly in the cavity at the muzzle end. The magnet assembly is coupled to the muzzle end and includes a magnet housing coupled to the outer wall and connected to the magnet. The holster may include a protruding wedge on a side panel of the outer wall, wherein the protruding wedge comprises a surface formed at an angle from the longitudinal holster axis. The wedge presses against a user's body to help alleviate the holster sagging. The holster may also have a spacer assembly, a portion of which can be configured to press against a user's body to achieve a desired resting angle of the holster.

摘要： A customizable holster locking and quick release mechanism includes a holster body with interchangeable insert assemblies, interchangeable and optional spacers and shims, and adjustable and repositionable locking teeth for holding the trigger guard of multiple handgun models. The insert assembly attaches to the holster body and has an insert body with integral upper and lower body sections that support a slide lock rail having upper and lower rail sections. When assembled, the insert body and a side spacer create a receiving slot for a handgun trigger guard. The rail, guided by an angled track in the insert body, moves the locking teeth horizontally into and through the receiving slot as it displaces vertically in response to receiving a trigger guard. Magnets bias the rail depending on the presence of a handgun, encouraging the rail to lock the handgun in a lower position or release the handgun in an upper position.

摘要： A holster for receiving and withdrawing a handgun has a proximal wall portion with a handgun retention mechanism thereon. The mechanism having a first lever with a tab portion for actuation and release of a trigger guard, the lever having a snap fit into a lever region without a separate pin. A belt engaging member covers the lever region capturing the first lever therein. If a second retention mechanism is used, another lever with a tab portion is positioned so the tabs are stacked, depressing one also depresses the tab behind it, such that both mechanisms are released. Overmolded polymer layers in the holster body provides a softer interior handgun engagement surfaces. The holster body is split forwardly with a threaded fastener for clamping onto the handgun. No holster body is beneath or rearward of the tab portion, configured as a thumb button, allowing smooth transition to gripping the handgun.
