    摘要: The invention relates to a percussion fuse having an active sensor, which generates a sensor voltage, having a filter circuit consisting of a high pass and at least one low pass, in order to be able to adjust dynamic percussion characteristics. The invention further relates to an operating state switch, which can transition the percussion fuse into one of two operating states, specifically into an activated and a deactivated operating state. To this end, the operating state switch is switched into one of the two operating states by means of a safety voltage. In the active operating state, the sensor voltage is supplied directly to the threshold value switch and in the deactivated operating state, the sensor voltage is held below the threshold value of the threshold value switch by an input limiter.

    摘要: An ordnance for air-borne delivery to a target under remotely controlled in-flight navigation. In one embodiment, self-powered aerial ordnance includes upper and lower cases. A plurality of co-axial, deployable blades is powered by a motor positioned in the upper case. When deployed, the blades are rotatable about the upper case to impart thrust and bring the vehicle to a first altitude above a target position. An explosive material and a camera are positioned in a lower case which is attached to the upper case. The camera generates a view along the ground plane and above the target when the ordinance is in flight. When the vehicle is deployed it is remotely controllable to deliver the vehicle to the target to detonate the explosive at the target. The ordnance may drop directly on a target as a bomb does.

    摘要: A method for detecting hardened bunkers within a target, the method including: producing a first output from a sensor fired to travel through the hardened bunkers, the first output being different from a second output when the sensor travels in a void between the hardened bunkers or encounters other objects outside of the hardened bunkers; and determining one or more of the number of hardened bunkers, a thickness of the hardened bunkers and a strength of the hardened bunkers based on the first and second outputs of the sensor over time. The sensor can include one of a piezoelectric generator for producing a voltage output and a circuit input by the voltage output or an accelerometer having a locking member for locking a proof mass during periods of impact with the one or more hardened bunkers.

    摘要: An inertia igniter including a mechanical delay mechanism having two or more members which are movable under different acceleration conditions to sequentially move a movable member upon sequential movement of the two or more members and an ignition member actuatable by the movable member such that movement of the movable member by the two or more members ignites the ignition member. The movable member can be movable by one of translation and rotation. The inertia igniter can further comprise an impact mass releasably movable in the housing, wherein the impact mass is released and movable by movement of the movable member to impact the ignition member. The inertia igniter can also further comprise a stop member for preventing movement of the impact mass until the movable member has moved a predetermined distance.

    摘要: An impact part on a projectile permits the activation of detonation systems within a large angular range of contact with a target. The impact part is provided with annular recesses with embedded circular rings that engage with the target and prevent the projectile from rebounding. A thin-walled, dome-shaped tip prevents relatively large disruptive effects upon the projectile's hollow charge. As a result of dimensioning the impact part in accordance with the rules of fracture mechanics, it is possible to achieve a desired fragmentation on the target.

    摘要: In a high explosive projectile which is designed to function on impact and which includes an inertially activated detonator power supply, that improvement which comprises an impact nose plug threaded into the projectile aligned with and spaced from but proximate the power supply. The plug material and the mating threads jointly providing a functioning or non-functioning of the ammunition for selected targets dependent on the shear characteristics thereof. Thus, the system can be made to function for certain targets and be non-functional for other light targets such as thin structures, tree branches, bushes, etc.
