摘要: The present disclosure extends to methods, systems, apparatus, and computer program products related to a cable-based measuring system. The cable-based measuring system includes a cable, comprising an inner cable member configured to move linearly within an outer cable housing. The measuring system also includes a measuring device configured to generate measurement information regarding movement of the inner cable member relative to the outer cable housing using one or more encoders. A computer system receives the measurement information from the measuring device. The measurement information indicates length as a function of time, and represents three orthogonal dimensional measurements of a three-dimensional object. Based on the measurement information, the computer system identifies a length of each dimensional measurement, including a length, a width, and a height of the three-dimensional object. The computer system then initiates creation of a box template sized to accommodate the three-dimensional object and/or updates a database.

摘要: An inspection method for determining a presence of a defect on a sides surface of a pillar-shaped honeycomb structure including generating strip-shaped images by repeatedly capturing the side surface part by part with an area camera while relatively moving the area camera with respect to the pillar-shaped honeycomb structure; determining the presence or absence of defects based on the strip-shaped images when a number of the strip-shaped images generated is sufficient to cover the entire side surface; a shutter speed when the area camera captures a part of the side surface for generating a single strip-shaped image is 10 to 1000 μsec; and each of the strip-shaped images has a length covering the entire height of the pillar-shaped honeycomb structure in a longitudinal direction, and a length of 1 to 10 mm in a width direction.

摘要: A method is provided for dimensioning a cross section of a structural product, the cross section having an arbitrary shape. The method includes defining and thereby producing a first definition of the cross section, and accessing template cross sections of various shapes, the template cross sections having respective second definitions of the template cross sections. The method includes performing a comparison of the first definition of the cross section and the respective second definitions of the template cross sections. The method includes identifying a matching one of the template cross sections based on the comparison, the matching one of the template cross sections further having respective locations from which the matching one of the template cross sections is dimensioned. And the method includes applying the respective locations to the cross section, and dimensioning the cross section from the respective locations.

摘要: A core detection device of a coring instrument includes a base body and a core switch mechanism provided on the base body. The base body is provided with a core channel communicated with a core barrel. The core switch mechanism includes a detection portion, a connecting rod assembly and a travel switch which are sequentially arranged and connected along a length direction of the coring instrument. The detection portion is rotatably installed on the base body and one end thereof is extended into the core channel, so that a core passing through the core channel pushes the detection portion to rotate. The connecting rod assembly can be pulled by the rotating detection portion to trigger the travel switch to operate. The core switch mechanism adopts a slider-connecting rod structure, and the kinematic pairs are mainly a sliding pair and a rotating pair.

Such techniques may include detecting the onset and/or dissipation of force applied to a build platform as it moves from being in contact with, to being out of contact with, a container. In some embodiments, the techniques described herein may be applied in a stereolithographic additive fabrication device. According to some embodiments, measurement of forces applied to a build platform may be used to provide for reliable and consistent measurements of the height of the build platform relative to a container by measuring such forces at various positions of the build platform and analyzing the pattern of the forces with distance from the container.

摘要: A heating system includes a power source connected to a heater to heat a workpiece via the heater and a controller. The controller is configured to receive the first temperature measurement signal, the first temperature measurement signal corresponding to a first temperature of the workpiece. The controller is to turn on the power source to activate the heater to heat the workpiece, receive the second temperature measurement signal in response to heating the workpiece, the second temperature measurement signal corresponding to a second temperature of the workpiece. The controller calculates a change in temperature of the workpiece based on the first and second temperatures, and determines a physical characteristic of the workpiece based on the change in temperature.
