摘要: An apparatus and method for estimating a vehicle pitch relative to a road. The apparatus includes a wheel speed sensor part which obtains wheel speed data, an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor part which obtains IMU data, a preprocessing part which extracts a stop section and a moving section on the basis of the wheel speed data and the IMU data, and a slope estimation part which estimates a vehicle pitch in the stop section and a road slope in the moving section and estimates a vehicle pitch relative to a road on the basis of the vehicle pitch and the road slope.

摘要: An apparatus in which electric power is generated for an electrical load from differentials in electric field strengths within a vicinity of powerlines includes: a plurality of electrodes separated and electrically insulated from one another for enabling differentials in voltage resulting from differentials in electric field strength experienced there at; and electrical components electrically connected therewith and configurable to establish one or more electric circuits whereby voltage differentials cause a current to flow through the established electric circuit for powering the electrical load. Preferably, the apparatus includes a control assembly having one or more voltage-detector components configured to detect relative voltages of the electrodes; and a processor enabled to configure-based on the detected voltages and based on voltage and electric current specifications for powering the electrical load—one or more of the electrical components to establish an electric circuit for powering the electrical load.

摘要: A processor is operably coupled to a time of flight (TOF) camera, a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) sensor, and an optical camera. The processor can receive a TOF signal representative of a first coordinate associated with a stick-up height of a tool joint of a pipe of a drill string during a tripping operation on a rig drill floor, and a pitch and a roll of the tool joint. The processor can receive a LIDAR signal representative of a second coordinate associated with the stick-up height, and the pitch of the tool joint. The processor can receive an optical camera signal representative of a third coordinate associated with the stick-up height of the tool joint and the roll of the tool joint. The processor can generate a pose estimate and an orientation estimate based on the signals.

摘要: Devices, systems, and methods of detecting a vishing attack, in which an attacker provides to a victim step-by-step over-the-phone instructions that command the victim to log-in to his bank account and to perform a dictated banking transaction. The system monitors transactions, online operations, user interactions, gestures performed via input units, speed and timing of data entry, and user engagement with User Interface elements. The system detects that the operations performed by the victim, follow a pre-defined playbook of a vishing attack. The system detects that the victim operates under duress or under dictated instructions, as exhibited in irregular doodling activity, data entry rhythm, typographical error introduction rhythm, unique posture of the user, alternating pattern of listening to phone instructions and performing online operations via a computer, and device orientation changes or spatial changes that characterize a device being used to perform an online transaction while also talking on the phone.

摘要: A tool, such as a digital level, having multiple methods of indicating the orientation of the level. One embodiment of the level includes two or more accelerometers arranged in complimenting orientations, such as 90 degrees with respect to each other. The complimenting orientation allows for more precise measurements from less expensive accelerometers compared to a level with a single more expensive accelerometer.
