摘要: Various embodiments provide systems, methods, and computer program products for providing dynamic real-time verification and validation of data associated with the receiving, loading, and positioning of a plurality of containers upon a transport vehicle. One or more computer processors are configured to: receive actual load data associated with at least one container; retrieve at least a portion of expected load data associated with the container for which actual load data has been received; verify the actual weight of the one of the plurality of packages and in response to a successful verification identifying no load weight discrepancies, validate the actual load position of the one of the plurality of packages. In response to a successful validation, at least one communication configured to facilitate at least one of further loading of the plurality of packages may be generated. If validation is unsuccessful, further loading may be prevented.

摘要: Provided is an authenticating apparatus that, in the case where authentication is performed repeatedly for the same operator, is capable of performing authentication without the operator having to consciously input unique information from the second time on. The weight scale measures the weight of an operator. The weight-registering unit, when an operator is authenticated as a user registered in an authentication list, registers the measured weight measured by the weight scale in the authentication list as a registered weight of the user. The user-selection-receiving unit receives a selection of a user. The weight-comparing unit authenticates an operator as a user registered in the authentication list by determining whether or not the registered weight of a user, of which a selection is received by the user-selection-receiving unit, is registered in the authentication list, and comparing the measured weight and the registered weight.

摘要: A package reception system according to an embodiment includes a measurement device with a camera that captures an image of a package and generates image data corresponding to the captured image. A first processor in the measurement device determines a size of the package based on the image data. The measurement device outputs an issuance request including instructions to perform a settlement processing with respect to a fee for receiving and transporting the package and to print an invoice to be used in connection with transporting the package. The system further includes a settlement device. A second processor in the settlement device receives the issuance request, and performs the settlement processing with respect to the fee calculated based on a size of the package determined based on the image data. The second processor controls a printer to print, after the settlement processing is performed, the invoice.

摘要: A meat product fat testing system (MPFTS) for determining the percent fat content of a meat product. The MPFTS includes two embodiments: a fat testing/analyzing unit and a hand-held calculating unit. The fat testing/analyzing unit integrally houses a heating means, meat product weighing means, a fat/moisture analyzer, a microcontroller, and a display. A sample of a meat product is placed into the unit and the unit is activated. The percent fat content of the sample is automatically analyzed and the result shown on the unit's display. The hand-held calculating unit is used with a conventional scale and heat source, which are used to obtain wet and dry weight readings of a meat product sample. The readings are input into the calculating device, which then displays in a window the percent fat content of the sample.

摘要: A checkout system includes a workstation having a data capture arrangement for capturing through a horizontal window a target associated with a product to identify the product being checked out at the workstation, and a scale for weighing the product at the workstation. The scale has a scale mechanism, and a weighing platter on which the product is placed for weighing. The weighing platter is integrated with the horizontal window and overlies the scale mechanism. The weighing platter projects past the scale mechanism and has a front end that overhangs the scale mechanism. Non-threaded, interlocking connectors, which are provided on the weighing platter and the scale mechanism, prevent the weighing platter from tipping if a force is exerted on the front end of the weighing platter. The weighing platter is mounted on, and removed from, the scale mechanism without the aid of tools.
