摘要: Embodiments of the invention provide an improved biosensor for biological or chemical analysis. According to embodiments of the invention, backside illumination (BSI) complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors can be used to effectively analyze and measure fluorescence or chemiluminescence of a sample. This measured value can be used to help identify a sample. Embodiments of the invention also provide methods of manufacturing an improved biosensor for biological or chemical analysis and systems and methods of DNA sequencing.

摘要: A microfluidic assay device having a chemiluminescent testing assembly including a detection area, a sample inlet, and a microfluidic network including a first and second path extending to the detection area configured to capture a target analyte. When a fluid is provided to the sample inlet, a first portion of the fluid rehydrates a first dried reagent disposed along the first path to produce a first rehydrated reagent and a second portion of the fluid rehydrates a second dried reagent to produce a second rehydrated reagent. The first rehydrated reagent and the second rehydrated reagent are then sequentially delivered to the detection area by capillary-driven flow to perform the assay, where they react, optionally in the presence of a catalyst to form a chemiluminescent signal.

摘要: A first liquid sending controller of an analysis control device controls a first liquid sender such that a mobile phase is supplied to a fluorescence detector through an analysis column and a junction during an analysis of a sample. A sample introduction controller controls a sample introducer such that the sample is introduced into a mobile phase by the sample introducer at a position farther upstream than the analysis column during the analysis of the sample. The second liquid sending controller causes a second liquid sender to start supplying a fluorescent reaction liquid such that the fluorescent reaction liquid arrives at the junction later than a point in time at which supply of the mobile phase starts and before the sample introduced into the mobile phase arrives at the junction during the analysis of the sample. A generator generates a chromatogram based on an output signal of the fluorescence detector during the analysis of the sample.

摘要: A new fluorescence detection method called pyrophosphorolysis activated fluorescence was developed to measure PAP amplification of nucleic acid. A fluorophore-quencher dual-attached blocked primer was used for PAP which has a fluorophore attached to a nucleotide in the internal region or at the 5′ end and a quencher attached to a blocked nucleotide at the 3′ end. Multiple fluorophore-quencher dual-labeled blocked primers were also used for multiplex PAP, which are attached with different fluorophores to distinguish multiple templates in a reaction.
