摘要: The present disclosure provides methods of processing or analyzing a sample. A method for processing a sample may comprise hybridizing a probe molecule to a target region of a nucleic acid molecule (e.g., a ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecule), barcoding the probe-nucleic acid molecule complex, and performing extension, denaturation, and amplification processes. A method for processing a sample may comprise hybridizing first and second probes to adjacent or non-adjacent target regions of a nucleic acid molecule (e.g., an RNA molecule), linking the first and second probes to provide a probe-linked nucleic acid molecule, and barcoding the probe-linked nucleic acid molecule. One or more processes of the methods described herein may be performed within a partition, such as a droplet or well. One or more processes of the methods described herein may be performed on a cell, such as a permeabilized cell.

摘要: The present invention relates to antibody-based molecules (including single domain antibody fragment, scFv molecules, antibodies, antibody fragments, diabodies, and the epitope-binding domains thereof) that are capable of immunospecifically and selectively binding to the truncated Asp421 epitope of Tau. Such antibody-based molecules are useful to detect pathological Tau protein conformer if present in a biological sample, especially in conjunction with the diagnosis and/or treatment of Alzheimer's disease or other tauopathy, and thus provide a diagnostic for Alzheimer's disease and other Tau pathologies. The antibody-based molecules of the present invention have particular utility as diagnostic markers for, Alzheimer's disease and related tauopathies and as pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of such conditions.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure include systems for use in preparing a labelled biomolecule reagent. Systems according to certain embodiments include an input manager for receiving a request for a labelled biomolecule reagent, a memory for storing a dataset having a plurality of labelled biomolecule reagent storage identifiers, a processing module communicatively coupled to the memory and configured to identify one or more labelled biomolecule reagent storage identifiers from the dataset that corresponds to the labelled biomolecule reagent request and an output manager for providing the one or more identified labelled biomolecule reagent storage identifiers. A reagent preparatory apparatus for preparing the labelled biomolecule reagent from an activated biomolecule and activated label is also described. Methods for communicating and receiving a labelled biomolecule reagent request and preparing the subject labelled biomolecule reagents are also provided.

摘要: A gas concentration device includes a first container, a second container, a pressure control device, and a path. The first container includes a first space surrounded by a first partition wall and stores a specimen, and a pressure inside the first space is reduced. The second container is airtightly connected to the first container by a first path and has a second space surrounded by a second partition wall and stores a gas flowing in from the first space. The pressure control device reduces a volume of the second space. A gas inside the second space is discharged through a second path.

摘要: A colorimetric sensor for detecting bacteria and/or viruses includes one or more layers having a photonic crystal structure, a functional layer comprising a nanomaterial capable of generating bacteria- and/or viruses-bioresponsive surface plasmon overlapping the one or more layers having the photonic crystal structure. The bacteria- and/or viruses-bioresponsive nanomaterial of the functional layer is doped with proteinic substances or antibodies acting as virus receptors, or the colorimetric sensor comprises a receptor layer comprising proteinic substances or antibodies acting as virus receptors. The functional layer and receptor layer overlap each other. Alternatively, or in addition to, the colorimetric sensor comprises a plasmonic nanostructured layer comprising nanostructures such to generate plasmonic colors, overlapping the one or more layers having the photonic crystal structure.
