    摘要： The torque motor as disclosed depends on decreasing the gap between a surface on a fixed part and a corresponding inclined facing surface on a rotating part, where the gap width is proportional to its distance from the angle vertex, in magnifying the electromagnetic force and its resulting torque. Therefore, the surface on the fixed part starts directly at—or close to—a point in align with the rotating part center of rotation, and hence the gap width is minimum at the start point and increases away from this point due to the inclination angle. The motor includes features, such as, utilizing many pairs of facing surfaces, many electromagnetic circuits; arrange the surfaces in pairs for balanced forces, works in one or two directions, the two directions electromagnetic circuits installed in one or two levels, and precautions and ways to avoid magnetic field interference and leakage.

    摘要： A voltage reference selector, used in conjunction with a multi-meter, allows user selection of a reference voltage used by the multi-meter from three different reference voltages of an electrical control panel when taking electrical measurements from the electrical control panel via the multi-meter. A portable voltage reference selector is electrically connected to a multi-meter and temporarily electrically connected to voltage reference points of an electrical control panel for taking electrical measurements from the control panel with the multi-meter. In this form, a test lead from the multi-meter obtains electrical measurements from the control panel. A permanent voltage reference selector is permanently connected to voltage reference points of an electrical control panel and is electrically connectable to a multi-meter for taking electrical measurements from the control panel with the multi-meter. In this form, a test lead of the voltage reference selector obtains electrical measurements from the control panel.

    摘要： The pointer of an air-core meter instrumentation gauge comprises a driven hub via which the pointer is separably attached to a driving hub on the rotor of the air core meter movement. The driving hub is press-fitted to the rotor in proper circumferential alignment so that when the pointer is attached, the pointer will be inherently properly circumferentially oriented too. This is accomplished by providing a keyed connection between the driving and driven hubs such that the pointer can be assembled to the driving hub in only one particular circumferential orientation. The hubs also have a snap-together catch feature that is additional to the keyed connection.
