    摘要: Systems and methods are provided for obtaining a flexural-attenuation measurement for cement evaluation that may be effective even for wells with relatively thick casings. A method includes emitting an acoustic signal at a casing in a well that excites the casing into generating an acoustic response signal containing acoustic waves, such as Lamb waves. The Lamb waves include flexural waves and extensional waves. The casing may be relatively large, having a thickness of at least 16 mm. The acoustic response signal may be detected and filtered to reduce a relative contribution of the extensional waves. This may correspondingly increase a relative contribution of the flexural waves. The filtered acoustic response signal may be used as a flexural-attenuation measurement for cement evaluation.

    摘要: The present application pertains in one embodiment to a sensor sub for use in a drillstring having a drill bit on a distal end for drilling a wellbore in a formation. The sensor sub comprises a tool body having a longitudinal axis; a first pocket on the tool body wherein said first pocket extends radially inward from an outer surface of the tool body and a second pocket on the tool body wherein said second pocket extends radially inward from an outer surface of the tool body. The first pocket comprises a first sensor selected from a type consisting of resistivity sensor, a sonic sensor, an ultrasonic sensor; a pressure sensor; an electrical imaging sensor; a gamma sensor; a density sensor; a neutron sensor; an acoustic sensor, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a gyroscope. The second pocket comprises a second sensor selected from a type consisting of resistivity sensor, a sonic sensor, an ultrasonic sensor; a pressure sensor; an electrical imaging sensor; a gamma sensor; a density sensor; a neutron sensor; an acoustic sensor; an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a gyroscope. The first sensor and the second sensor are each a different type. A control unit may be operably connected to the first sensor and the second sensor such that the control unit is configured to determine the type of sensor, send data to the first and second sensor, and receive data from the first and second sensor.

    摘要: System and methods for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) fluid substitution are provided. NMR logging measurements of a reservoir rock formation are acquired. Fluid zones within the reservoir rock formation are identified based on the acquired measurements. The fluid zones include water zones comprising water-saturated rock and at least one oil zone comprising rock saturated with multiphase fluids. Water zones having petrophysical characteristics matching those of the oil zone(s) within the formation are selected. NMR responses to multiphase fluids resulting from a displacement of water by hydrocarbon in the selected water zones are simulated. A synthetic dataset including NMR T2 distributions of multiphase fluids is generated based on the simulation. The synthetic dataset is used to train a machine learning (ML) model to substitute NMR T2 distributions of multiphase fluids with those of water. The trained ML model is applied to the NMR logging measurements acquired for the oil zone(s).

    摘要: An assembly for detection of foreign bodies in a multihead weigher includes an image recorder and a lighting module and an image evaluation module. The multihead weigher includes weighing containers for filling with bulk material, a selection of the bulk material being emptiable into chutes combined in the shape of a funnel upon arrival of a trigger signal. The image recorder records an image series, and the lighting module and the image evaluation module output a signal upon detection of a foreign body in the image series. The image recorder includes one or more cameras for optical capturing of the funnel, the one or more cameras being arranged inside of or above the funnel and being set up to capture one or more sections of an interior surface of the funnel between two horizontal planes.

    摘要: A mobile platform for assessing and modifying pavement surfaces. An emitter generates electromagnetic waves towards a portion of a pavement surface. A condition sensor receives electromagnetic radiation from a first portion of the pavement surface and generates a first electronic signal representative of a current condition of the portion of the pavement surface. A location sensor generates a second electronic signal containing location data corresponding to the first portion of the pavement surface. A computing platform processes the electronic signals and creates a current pavement condition data point. The computing platform may compare the first electronic signal against a reference representative of a target condition, determine if there is a condition variance, and, if a condition variance exceeds a predetermined threshold, generate a condition control signal which is transmitted to and operates to modify operation of the pavement surface modification system in order to reduce the condition variance.

    摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure describe dynamic road traffic noise mapping using DFOS over a telecommunications network that enables mapping of road traffic-induced noise at any observer location. DFOS is used to obtain instant traffic data including vehicle speed, volume, and vehicle types, based on vibration and acoustic signal along the length of a sensing fiber along with location information. A sound pressure level at a point of interest is determined, and traffic data associated with such point is incorporated into a reference noise emission database and a wave propagation theory for total sound pressure level prediction and mapping. Real-time wind speed using DFOS—such as distributed acoustic sensing (DAS)—is obtained to provide sound pressure adjustment due to the wind speed.
