摘要: A spectacle lens for smartglasses can include at least one light source arrangement at the edge of the spectacle lens that emits coherent light, or at least one region at the edge of the spectacle lens for coupling in light from a light source arrangement that emits coherent light, or at least one light source arrangement that is embedded in the spectacle lens. A transparent or partly transparent display can provided to the spectacle lens such that coherent light emanating from the light source arrangement emits coherent light passing through the display or is reflected by the display. The wavefront of the coherent light is modulable in terms of its amplitude and/or its phase by an actuation of the display. A deformation device for deforming the wavefront of the coherent light before or after the modulation by the display can also be provided.

摘要: The present invention relates to dichromic mirrored patterns on fashion eyewear that exhibits variable opacity on the exterior of a photochromic lens in response to changing lighting conditions wherein the pattern can go from virtually transparent to opaque. The dichromic mirror pattern(s) can be coated in multi-color pattern sections and can be coated so that some pattern sections ave variable opacity and other pattern sections have a fixed high opacity. The effect can also be produced on an optical film to be applied to many optical surfaces.

摘要: Methods for treating presbyopia in a patient's eye involve inducing spherical aberration in a central area of the pupil. In embodiments, refractive properties of an eye are measured to obtain a baseline refractive correction. A lens for wearing on the eye is provided to create spherical aberration or a distribution of spherical aberrations beyond the baseline refractive correction in the central area of the pupil. The central area of the pupil has a diameter of between 1.5 mm and 4.0 mm and has negligible spherical aberration without the treatment.
