    Abstract: A wavelength conversion element is adapted to rotate around a rotation axis. The wavelength conversion element includes a rotating member and a wavelength conversion material. The wavelength conversion material is arranged on the rotating member. The wavelength conversion material is configured to convert a laser beam into a conversion beam. The rotating member is configured to drive the wavelength conversion material to rotate around the rotation axis. The wavelength conversion element has a light-transmitting area. The light-transmitting area is surrounded by the rotating member. The light-transmitting area is configured to allow at least one of the laser beam and the conversion beam to pass through.

    Abstract: A projector includes a light source, an integrating rod, an image panel, a beam shaper, and an actuator mechanically connected to the beam shaper. The image panel is configured to display an image at a displayed aspect ratio. The beam shaper includes multiple prisms shaped and oriented such that when the beam shaper intersects an optical path of the illumination between the integrating rod and the image panel, the illumination transmitted by the beam shaper is collinear with the illumination incident on the beam shaper. The actuator is configured to switch the projector between (i) a first configuration, in which the beam shaper does not change an aspect ratio of the illumination, and (ii) a second configuration, in which the beam shaper intersects the optical path between the integrating rod and the image panel and changes the aspect ratio of the illumination.

    Abstract: Provided is a light-source system, comprising excitation light source, first supplementary light source, first light-guiding assembly, wavelength conversion apparatus, and second light-guiding assembly. The excitation light source is for emitting excitation light; the first supplementary light source is for emitting first supplementary light. The first light-guiding assembly is for guiding the excitation light to the wavelength conversion apparatus. The wavelength conversion apparatus is for converting excitation light to excited light and irradiate onto the first light-guiding assembly. The first light-guiding assembly is for guiding excited light to irradiate onto the second light-guiding assembly. At least some components of the second light-guiding assembly are arranged on the light path from the first light-guiding assembly. The second light-guiding assembly is for guiding the excited light and/or the first supplementary light, such that the first supplementary light and at least part of the excited light are output from same emission channel.

    Abstract: A laser source and a laser projection apparatus are provided. The laser source includes a laser assembly. The laser assembly includes a mounting substrate, a light-emitting group, and a conductive connecting portion. The mounting substrate is a first printed circuit board and includes a first surface, a first region, and a second region. The first region and the second region are discontinuously distributed, and the first region is connected with the second region through an internal wiring of the mounting substrate. The light-emitting group is electrically connected with the first region. A first end of the conductive connecting portion is connected with the second region, and a second end of the conductive connecting portion is configured to be electrically connected with a second printed circuit board, so as to electrically connect the light-emitting group with the second printed circuit board.

    Abstract: An optical phase modulation system of the present disclosure includes an illumination light emitter, a phase modulation unit, and a synchronization control unit. The illumination light emitter performs polarization control on a polarization direction of light emitted as illumination light into a first polarization direction and a second polarization direction different from the first polarization direction, and emits light having the first polarization direction and light having the second polarization direction at different timing and in different directions from each other. The phase modulation unit includes a first region that performs phase modulation on the light having the first polarization direction from the illumination light emitter, and a second region that performs phase modulation on the light having the second polarization direction from the illumination light emitter. The synchronization control unit causes timing at which the light having the first polarization direction and the light having the second polarization direction are emitted from the illumination light emitter to be synchronized with timing of phase modulation in the first region and the second region of the phase modulation unit.
