    摘要: A method of forming a flexible printed material is described. The method comprises applying a layer of primer onto a flexible substrate; electrostatically printing onto the layer of primer a liquid electrostatic ink composition; applying a curable overprint varnish composition onto the printed electrostatic ink composition and curing the overprint varnish composition using electron beam irradiation. The curable overprint varnish composition comprises an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, an ethylenically unsaturated oligomer, or mixtures thereof, and less than 10 wt. % of a cross-linking additive based on the total weight of the curable overprint varnish composition. A flexible package comprising the flexible printed material is also described.

    摘要: An electrophotographic belt includes a base layer containing a binder resin and carbon black in the binder resin. The binder resin contains at least one resin selected from the group consisting of PEEK and PPS. A water content calculated by ((X2−X1)/X2)×100 is 0.6% where X1 is a mass of a specimen cut out of the base layer when in a nitrogen atmosphere a temperature of the specimen is increased from 30° C. to 100° C. at a rate of 20° C./min. and maintained at 100° C. for 30 min, and X2 is a mass of the specimen when in a nitrogen atmosphere the specimen is thereafter cooled from 100° C. to 30° C. at a rate of 20° C./min. and the specimen is left to stand in the air under an environment of a temperature of 23° C. and a relative humidity of 50% for 48 hours.

    摘要: Provided is an electrophotographic apparatus which uses a light emitting diode array as an exposure unit and exposes a photosensitive member to a quantity of light from the LED array whose average light quantity satisfies 0.8×Emin or more and 1.1×Emin or less on condition that a normalized radius of curvature R of a normalized graph derived from the E-V curve of the photosensitive member has a minimum value of 0.24 or less, and a light quantity at the minimum value of the normalized radius of curvature R is Emin [μJ/cm2]. This electrophotographic apparatus prevents both the occurrence of image unevenness due to light quantity variation among the elements of the LED array and the generation of ghost images due to a rest potential.
