Abstract: A display device includes at least one spatial light modulator displaying an image, a surface light source device providing an image display light from a rear direction of the spatial light modulator to the spatial light modulator, and at least one image transmission member forming a display path of an image displayed through at least one spatial light modulator, the surface light source device comprises an organic light emitting display surface in which light emitting pixels performing a surface light emission are disposed, and an emission driving circuit setting a light emission compensation value for the each of the block areas according to an average value of light emission grayscale deviation for each of the block areas of the organic light emitting display surface and compensating light emission grayscale in respect to the light emitting pixels by using the light emission compensation value for each of the block areas.

Abstract: A light field display system is implemented in a consumer device to present the user of the consumer device with holographic content, providing the user with an immersive operational experience. The system generates and presents holographic content for the user. The system receives a command from the user. In some embodiments, the presented holographic content may comprise a holographic user interface that is used by the system to receive the commands from the user. Subsequently, the system recognizes the received commands, determines one or more computational commands for execution by the system, and executes the determined computational command.

Abstract: A method and system for a scalable multi-sense user experience are disclosed. A three-dimensional (“3-D”) display is disposed behind a slit plane comprising slits and ultrasonic transducers. Light from the 3-D display passes through the slits in the slit plane to generate a 3-D image. The ultrasonic transducers on the front of the slit plane, i.e., opposite the side where the 3-D display is disposed, generate directed acoustic field and/or a formed tactile field. Because the generating components for all three senses, i.e., visual, audio, and tactile, are coplanar, units may be tiled and thereby scaled to generate larger multi-sense experiences.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include an energy directing device having one or more energy relay elements configured to direct energy from one or more energy locations through the device. In an embodiment, surfaces of the one or more energy relay elements may form a singular seamless energy surface where a separation between adjacent energy relay element surfaces is less than a minimum perceptible contour. In disclosed embodiments, energy is produced at energy locations having an active energy surface and a mechanical envelope. In an embodiment, the energy directing device is configured to relay energy from the energy locations through the singular seamless energy surface while minimizing separation between energy locations due to their mechanical envelope. In embodiments, the energy relay elements may comprise energy relays utilizing transverse Anderson localization phenomena.

Abstract: A novel electronic system provides a holographic and physical mixed-reality (HPMR) live casino environment sharing between a casino venue in a physical casino and a remote player outside the physical casino via holographic space and gameplay live streaming. The novel system creates a live HPMR interaction between a casino dealer attending the casino venue in the physical casino and the remote player with a user-selected holographic avatar that represents either the casino dealer or the remote player in the HPMR live casino environment. The novel system dynamically generates, updates, and streams three-dimensional (3D) space, casino tables, and gameplay items of the physical casino in real time to the remote player, who can visually immerse in the holographic live stream feed and participate in the casino venue in real-time. The novel system also empowers the casino dealer to visualize the remote player as a holographic avatar in real time.
