摘要: A process and/or a bioreactor control system for controlling a bioreactor. The bioreactor control system includes a bioreactor, a sensor, an electronic card, and a bioreactor controller. The sensor is proximate to the bioreactor and configured to generate a signal indicative of an operating condition of the bioreactor. The signal is then transmitted to the electronic card. Receiving the signal, the electronic card processes the signal to generate a converted signal. The converted signal is then transmitted to the bioreactor controller. The bioreactor controller, in turn, processes the converted signal and generates a control signal to modify the operating condition of the bioreactor.

摘要: An automated or semi-automated beer brewing system may adjust a brewing session based on data collected during the brewing session. The adjustments may attempt to achieve a set of desired taste characteristics, even though a brewing session may then deviate from an intended recipe. A performance model of the brewing system may include taste characteristic effects and operational aspects of an automated brewing system, and may be used to calculate changes to various brewing steps. A control system may analyze various measured parameters to determine deviation from an intended recipe, and may use the performance model to calculate updated brewing steps that may attempt to achieve the desired result. When such measured parameters indicate a malfunction, a brewing session may be paused or terminated.

摘要: A method of determining multimodal polyethylene quality comprising the steps of (a) providing a multimodal polyethylene resin sample; (b) determining, in any sequence, the following: that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a melt index within 30% of a target melt index; that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a density within 2.5% of a target density; that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a dynamic viscosity deviation (% MVD) from a target dynamic viscosity of less than about 100%; that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) deviation (% MwD) from a target Mw of less than about 20%; and that the multimodal polyethylene resin sample has a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) curve profile deviation (% GPCD) from a target GPC curve profile of less than about 15%; and (c) responsive to step (b), designating the multimodal polyethylene resin sample as a high quality resin.

摘要: A blast plan control system and method used to control a drill and blast event is disclosed. The system and method customizes results for specific conditions. The system can receive certain inputs, such as conditions of the area to be blasted and the desired rock fragment size, and use these inputs to output a plurality of blast plans characterized by a set of characteristics that achieve the desired fragmentation size. A user can select a blast plan for execution from the plurality of blast plans. When the control system receives a selected blast plan, the control system can generate a work order for the selected blast plan and communicate the work order to operators and/or drilling equipment associated with execution of the drill and blast event. The operators and/or drilling equipment can then prepare for and execute the selected blast plan.

摘要: A method for managing air quality may include, at one or more processors, receiving sensor data comprising a plurality of air quality parameters for an environment, wherein the sensor data is generated by one or more environment quality monitoring devices located in the environment, predicting an adverse air quality event based on the sensor data, and automatically controlling one or more devices to mitigate the adverse air quality event. An environment quality monitoring device may include a housing, a plurality of sensors in the housing and configured to generate sensor data comprising a plurality of environment quality parameters, a network communication device configured to communicate the sensor data over a network, and an alert configured to indicate an environment quality score of the ambient environment, where the environment quality score is based on at least a portion of the sensor data.

摘要: A self-configuring controller includes one or more processors and one or more non-transitory machine readable media storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the one or more processors to receive an output signal from a controlled system or device representative of an operation of the controlled system or device in response to a first perturbed control input perturbed using a first dither signal, estimate a bandwidth of the controlled system or device based on the output signal and the first dither signal, perturb a second control input using a second dither signal based on the bandwidth of the controlled system or device to generate a second perturbed control input, and transmit the second perturbed control input to the controlled system or device.

摘要: Apparatus, systems, methods, for optimizing a schedule of setpoint temperatures used in the control of an HVAC system are presented herein. A schedule of setpoint temperatures may be adjusted by small, incremental amounts so that the schedule migrates from the original schedule to a more energy-efficient schedule.

摘要: Provided are a yawing control method and a yawing control device for a wind turbine. The yawing control method includes: acquiring first wind information at a current moment characterized by current operation data of a neighbor wind turbine adjacent to the wind turbine when at least one of a wind direction sensor and a wind direction data uploading path of the wind turbine fails; acquiring second wind information matched with the first wind information in wind information characterized by historical operation data of the wind turbine at all moments; and performing yawing control on the wind turbine based on the second wind information.
